Yeah, especially those “economic” guarantees.
We ought to pull out completely and just let the extortionist have the place. We can nuke it from orbit later when it reverts to the violent moongod cesspool it’s been for about a thousand years.

That’s one of those “rhetorical” questions, right? :-)
Short answer, “yes”.

But in return, Afghanistan wants a U.S. commitment Well this will be an interesting discussion. Who do you trust most to honor such commitments? Karzai or The One ?

That is a real race to the bottom. I think Karzai because he is more the standard corruption model. He can be bought or at least rented. Obama wants the US brought down to suit his ideology and hatred.

CLOSE THEM!
Bush Waterboarded jehadist clowns...they gave us bin laden...
Our spooks found Bin Laden...but too late for Bush to do anything about it
the pretender decided against his own better judgement to kill bin laden.
He is DEAD
time to get out.
until the White Hut turns back to the White House, its best for the military to pull back...because with him as _resident he could use the military to destroy our true friends like Israel....

President Hamid Karzai, knows that after the Americans leave he is a dead man, it is in his personal interest to have a U.S. ground presence in Afghanistan. I just hope we don't end up with a Shah of Afghanistan.

It makes more sense than pulling out completely, which is what we did in Iraq.

Don't think of them as bases.
Think of them as giant American Taxpayer money funnels!

NINE bases in Afghanistan, but NOTHING in all of Iraq?
Which area is more critical to our nation strategically?
Which area cost us more in blood and treasure?

You are so focused on the negative you can’t see what they are.
They are Iranian containment.
You don’t see the big picture
