Hillary had no power and was absolutely a laughing stock as SOS from Day One. Heck, half the time Obama didn’t even pretend she mattered when he met or talked with foreign heads of state, and she was frequently sent off to trivial events in unimportant places just to get her out of the way. And in any case, she was certainly well enough placed to know that the Libyans actually didn’t have any “new found freedom,” but that Obama’s actions had put in place an even more dangerous new master, AQ allied “rebels.”

So no matter what she did, she was only doing it at BO’s orders.

I think his orders were to maintain the appearance of normalcy, you know, how we trust our Muslim brethren in the new, redeemed, Obama-friendly AQ, we don’t want them to get nervous because we’re armed, we don’t want to have our military there (they had a private British security company) because it might annoy the Muslims, etc., etc., etc.

I think she resigned in part because she got tired of being kicked around and in part because she realized that she was going to be blamed for the whole Benghazi thing, as if she were a rogue SOS who was busy undermining his sainted highness Obama.

Every single high-ranking person, either military or civilian, involved in any way with Benghazi has either been removed, reassigned or retired. It’s not just Hillary. That would be way too easy.

Not true. Pat Kennedy is still U/S for Management. Dempsey is still Chairman of the JCS. In fact, the witnesses made the point that the upper levels were whitewashed above the A/S level.

This is going to get interesting as the noose closes on Clinton. Is she going to fight or just try to ooze off into the sunset? Is she such a committed leftist that she'll take one for the cause or will she take Obama down? If she's looking weakened for 2016, there's Presidential aspirants on both sides of the aisle who will want to take bites out of her. I think she's soon going to feel like a cow who's sleepwalked into a piranha filled river.
