Hearing details:
WASHINGTON House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa today announced three witnesses who will appear at a full committee hearing, Benghazi: Exposing Failure and Recognizing Courage, on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at 11:30 AM in 2154 Rayburn House Office Building.
I applaud these individuals for answering our call to testify in front of the Committee. They have critical information about what occurred before, during, and after the Benghazi terrorist attacks that differs on key points from what Administration officials including those on the Accountability Review Board have portrayed, said Issa. Our committee has been contacted by numerous other individuals who have direct knowledge of the Benghazi terrorist attack, but are not yet prepared to testify. In many cases their principal reticence of appearing in public is their concern of retaliation at the hands of their respective employers. While we may yet add additional witnesses, this panel will certainly answer some questions and leave us with many new ones.
Witnesses: Mr. Mark Thompson
Acting Deputy Assistant Secretary for Counterterrorism
US Department of State
Mr. Gregory Hicks
Foreign Service Officer and former Deputy Chief of Mission/Chargé dAffairs in Libya
US Department of State
Mr. Eric Nordstrom
Diplomatic Security Officer and former Regional Security Officer in Libya
US Department of State
In October 2012, the Oversight Committee held the first hearing on the Benghazi attacks, which exposed denials of security requests and forced the Administration to acknowledge that the attacks were not sparked by a protest of a YouTube video, contrary to claims made by Obama Administration officials.
*** NOTE: Press seating will be reserved, but limited. Please arrive early (hearing room will open to press at 10:30 AM) to guarantee a seat. An overflow area will be available. ***

I tell you, it is my belief that Obama and Clinton, made the decision to "no-go" expressily to get all of these Americans killed....dead people do not talk and tell a story.
Now, if you "back into the moment where Doughterty and Woods were killed from the other end you arrive at the same conclusion. The wounded were sent, some for 6 months to Germany and told they could not talk about the events. They were ordered not to speak. Now, back in the US people who want to speak are threatened with loss of their jobs, their retirement, their professional futures. You arrive at the same conslusions. Obama and Clinton wanted them dead...it would have been easier to deal with the dead....it would have been easier to promulgate such nonsense as a silly video as a tripwire. Obama and Clinton simply saw their screwups spinning out of control, an election in 7 weeks, and a possible screwup of such magnitude that it would cause the loss of the Presidency. The easiest way to deal with these complications, they concluded, was to kill them all. Obama and Clinton set all 32 people, by orders of Obama, on a course of being assinated by al Quaeda, in colusion with Obama. If it had not been for Woods and Dougherty, heros of the highest order, they would have succeeded and the questions we all have would have been silenced.

Well, I’m on there but truthfully, I’m clueless as to how to keep up in Twitter. I guess I’m Twitter illiterate. :)
1/2 hour to go. But besides the 5 state dept officials, there were other witnesses. Supposedly people in hospitals “recovering”. Will our Congress demand to speak to them too?
Susan Rice to be honored with Great American Award for strengthening the worlds common security
Great post! Thanks for putting it a “nutshell” as it were.
I expect a disturbance from the Code Pink clowns or some of their fellow Occupy vermin.
Very well said, and it’s why I keep saying that both Obama and Hillary should be in prison, at the very least.
It’s a black organization. Probably just a front for bribery.
Bye bye New York Times and Washington Post... your credibility's on the line... and you're throwing it away...
I’m listening to the state department briefing on cspan3, and the press is beating up the speaker pretty badly, about Hillary’s involvement in Benghazi.
Morning everyone! Let’s hope Issa is tough on the Elijah Cummings interuptions, that you know are coming, and tells him to STFU! I am expecting the worst and hoping for the best.
State Dept Spokesman Patrick Ventrell on now. Tap dancing around the questions about Benghazi!
Me too.
Regardless of the outcome, I really really hope the Republicans don’t blow the opportunity to ask the right questions instead of grandstanding and pontificating (like they always do).
Last night, O’Reilly asked the idiot Alan Colmes “what was the systemic failure”, which was the headline of the report. He didn’t know, never asked the question. Say what you will about BOR but he would do a far better job of asking the right questions.
They really need to hire Greta Van Sustern to run this hearing and we’d get to the truth in about 20 minutes.
Agreed!!
Is/are the press REALLY asking tough questions? I’m not watching, but I really doubt if he has much to dance about. The MSM are NOT on the side of the ones who were harmed by this tragedy! For sure!
Let us Pray to the Father that evil is struck down today.
Let us Pray the Son fills the room and brings forth truth.
Let us Pray the Spirit brings out the words that must be spoken.
Let us pray!
#benghazi is trending #3 right now! Amazed that twitter has not knocked that down a few notches.
