Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) told students at Rider University that conservatives are wrong to make deficit reduction a priority.
Bottom line is that the right wing, and I say the Tea Party, has made deficit reduction the main prioritythe main economic priority, and I will tell you point blankthat I do not think it is.
I believe in economic growth, and I think the only way we get out of the recessionand we are gradually getting out of itis by having policies in Washington that create growth and therefore create jobs and therefore eliminate the problems that we may have with Social Security trust funds and the Medicare trust funds.

Remember when a $500 million dollar deficit ($300 mil of which was a tax rebate stimulus program) was dangerous, reckless and unpatriotic? I wonder if we will ever see those days again before the system collapses?

"The way to have safe government is not to trust it all to the one, but to divide it among the many, distributing to everyone exactly the functions in which he is competent....To let the National Government be entrusted with the defense of the nation, and its foreign and federal relations..... The State Governments with the Civil Rights, Laws, Police and administration of what concerns the State generally. The Counties with the local concerns, and each ward direct the interests within itself. It is by dividing and subdividing these Republics from the great national one down through all its subordinations until it ends in the administration of everyman's farm by himself, by placing under everyone what his own eye may superintend, that all will be done for the best."

Money and Power.
Doing tyranny’s bidding...
This scumbag is sugarcoating the tar pit of debt. The government’s debt is the taxpayers’ debt — a difficult thing to comprehend especially for those that don’t understand the impact of oppressive debt.
What a devious asshole.

Rep. Frank Pallone (D-N.J.) told students at Rider University that conservatives are wrong to make deficit reduction a priority He's got that right.
We should be for economic growth for sure. Via reducing the proportion of the national income consumed by government. That should include Pallone's job, obviously. If we do that, the deficit will shrink over time. Pallone can sell insurance or spin pizza dough. I'll bet he has halitosis, too, being on a social wrung just below trailer trash!
