The two aerial strikes on Damascus in the past 48 hours, carried out by the Israel Air Force according to foreign media reports, are likely the result of classified intelligence indicating an imminent attempt to transfer strategic weapons from Syria to Hezbollah.
With Hezbollah deploying up to half of its fighting force to Syria to help the regime of dictator Bashar Assad fight for its survival, the Lebanese Shiite organization will be seeking rewards for its actions. Hezbollah and its patron Iran may have asked Assad to make the advanced weapons available.
It would seem that Assad cannot have been in the dark over the likelihood of such proliferation triggering action to stop it. Back in January, Israel reportedly sent a very clear message to Syria, Hezbollah and Iran when an air strike targeted a Hezbollah-bound convoy carrying advanced surface-to-air missiles toward Lebanon. But that apparently didnt stop Hezbollah from trying again this weekend.

Again mac daddy gets caught in yet another lie.
But in all fairness to mac daddy he was much to busy with his trip to mexico and blaming America for the deaths on guns. He followed this up with urgent plans related to parties, golfing and vacations and screwing the American tax payers.
I found it amusing and disturbing that Israel used the term “game change” or “game changing” in terms of the weapons they supposedly were targeting. I would like Obama to be dissed, but he is our President, and there is something disturbing about the whole matter.
Obama has done everything in his power to destabilize the middle east. He has taken the most radical violent members of the Muslim Brotherhood and Al Quaeda and armed them and encouraged them to run to war zones in Libya and now in Syria to fight a war. The Muslim Brotherhood is worse than Assad and it is worse than what Mubarek was. They drool at the idea of not only waging war on Israel when the time comes, but in turn taking over the U.S..
That might have something to do with it.- Just a guess.
True, but he is our leader still. I guess I instinctively want to support our President when a foreign power publicly slights him/us, as Israel has done. I still despise Obama, FWIW.
