The Columbus High School Mighty Cardinals had won the 4x100-meter relay--by seven yards, no less--and had a shot at the state championship. That was until Junior sprinter Derrick Hayes pointed to the sky. Hayes´s father, K.C., said that his son made a gesture of thanks to God, but raising a hand to the sky is considered excessive celebration according to the state scholastic rules. And with that, the team was disqualified.

Hayes´s father, K.C., said that his son made a gesture of thanks to God, but raising a hand to the sky is considered excessive celebration according to the state scholastic rules. Imagine the distress and chaos he would have triggered had he smiled or shouted, "Yay!"

This is all happening because the progressives own the White House and the Senate and they are pushing for their revolution. The pendulum will swing and the retribution will be unimaginable. I remember when there was a time during Reagan that dim pukes would proclaim (on cnn's crossfire etc) that they were not liberal... liberal was a nasty word. When the tide shifts and it will... these things are like everything in life... there are cycles... liberals will not just be uncool... progressives will be hated by most Americans.

Some little UIL judge with a god complex should have been fired on the spot after this outrageous miscarriage of justice. Nothing like this should ever happen in Texas. That school district should find a clever Houston lawyer and sue the pants off the UIL.

The Track Team member was merely exercising his RIGHT to free speech and freedom of religion. A half decent shyster should be able to get a very nice settlement. Watch (and listen) to the first victory shout of "allahu achkbar", and note the applause, and/or crickets. And approving comments on bravery, respect, and diversity.

Wow! I will only go along with this IF they ALL knew the rule before the race. However, if nobody knew this rule then forget it.

In how many US cities is the demonic Is Slime call to prayer ringing out five times a day? When thefedzilla halts that, THEN they can ask Christians to reign in their enthusiasm for God Almighty. But until then, the fedzilla is violating the separation of Church and State by favoring the noise from the lesser moon goddess religion with a pedophile as its prophet.

Screw these people. They know they won, they should publicize that they won and not knuckle under to the PC fools. I’m guessing that the principal cares more for his phony baloney job than freedom, so he will cave, however.

If it is like the high school association here in Florida, FHSAA, they all knew the rules of excessive celebration before the race. The kid just forgot in the excitement of winning.
