I've found myself pondering that exact same question in recent days. Do the same people who protested so vigorously against the death penalty intend to do so outside abortion clinics?
Very recently Gov. O'Malley signed into law a ban on all death penalties here in MD. So I foud myself wondering "Will those people I know for a fact demonstrated every week outside the penitentiary against capital punishment FINALLY join those praying outside abortion "clinics" here?" They do at least call themselves "Catholic" after all.
Something tells me they won't. Which disgusts me to no end (I'm Catholic).
Those who favor abortion "rights" are demanding the innocent be executed.
"How terrible it will be for those who call evil good and good evil, who substitute darkness for light and light for darkness, who substitute what is bitter for what is sweet and what is sweet for what is bitter!" (Isaiah 5:20)

The one who acquits the guilty and the one who condemns the innocent--both of them are an abomination to the LORD. (Proverbs 17:15)
I too am Catholic but you know i think all that matters is we’re all human beings. That’s it. Pretty inclusive club. Among this group of humans some seem to believe it’s wrong to take the life of one who has taken the life of another but can convince themselves it’s just fine to snuff out the life of one without sin.
Incredibly disgusting philosophy. Maybe they sleep at night knowing the newborn can’t articulate its will to live? Maybe its the thought that if the mother doesn’t want it then there’s no reason to care?
I have no idea how these people salve their supposed conscience. I cannot understand how they can reconcile two contrary stances for the exact same act.
