To: Chickensoup

We purchased a Bosch dishwasher and it has timed cycles. Yes it was a little more expensive but it is not only the quietest dishwasher we have owned, we do not have to rinse the dishes. The interior of ours is stainless steel.

We have put casserole dishes in there with baked on mac & cheese and had them come out spotless.

This is very similar to what we got but we bought it in a local appliance store:

I think that someone told me that the big box dishwashers were differently spec-ed out than the appliance store dishwashers.

True?

Some of the European dishwashers are definitely superior due to the fact that they heat much higher than American dishwashers. Without the phosphates higher heat temps are required to actually clean.
