The “ceremony” was carried out at St. Andrew United Church of Christ and, I assume, the person who thinks she actually can do such a thing is some other dingbat female, who is quoted (I am just guessing here):
“As a woman priest, Rosemarie is leading, not leaving the Catholic Church, into a new era of inclusivity,” said Bishop Bridget Mary Meehan during her sermon Saturday.
Looked it up and found another piece about this. Ceremony was performed by The Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests.
From this second article:
...traces its roots to 2002 and says it has ordained about 100 women priests worldwide, including several bishops, many leading small congregations independent from Vatican authority.
Bishop Bridget Mary Meehan of the association said its first bishops were ordained by a Roman Catholic bishop whose name has not been disclosed, giving them valid orders in the line of succession from the apostles.
