AUSTIN, Texas -- Gov. Rick Perry said Friday he's disgusted a California newspaper ran a cartoon that depicts him boasting about booming business in Texas, then shows an explosion, a week after a fertilizer plant explosion killed 14 people in a Texas town.
Perry said he wants an apology from the Sacramento Bee on behalf of the town.
The cartoon in Thursday's edition shows Perry crowing that "Business is Booming," flanked by signs saying "Low Tax!" and "'Low Regs!" It's a play on the Republican's often

Yeah, the same guy who votes for the likes of Moonbeam, Kammala, Feinstein, Boxcar and others taking the formerly great State of California down the toilet
And his job is to be “provocative”? In other words, not about truth or opinion, but divisive and obnoxious, the best way in today’s MSM to sell its fishwrap.
Disgusting, childish idiots. No wonder California sucks now.
Business IS booming in Texas, despite industrial accidents. The fact that this explosion will NOT deter people and businesses from moving to Texas because Texas has LOW regulations! Besides, anyone who builds houses around fertilizer plants is stupid to the boot and does not deserve to blame others.
The MSM will give the cartoonist, the paper and the editor a pass on this obvious cartoon done with hatred and bad taste. If the cartoonist had been a Republican he/she would have been fired when the first Democrat whined about it.
What does he expect from the Land Of Fruits and Nutz....sympathy? satan owns land in Kaleftfornia.
Just dropped the Bee a note! Everyone should do it too! We don’t take it because we have an ample supply of toilet paper.
Jack Ohlman is a fine example.

The Sacramento Bee - must be some transplants from San Francisco ...
California liberals have absolutely no respect for human life. DemocRATS are truly THE PARTY OF DEATH. Their exploitation of the Newtown shooting is so hypocritical. They used the deaths of those children for their own political gain. To the liberal ‘RATS, the shooting in Newtown was just another opportunity for them to execute another one of their exploitation schemes. It’s so easy to understand now why the liberals were so happy and excited when that shooting occurred.
I’m waiting for his cartoon indicting Kermit Gosnell.
Kermit is against any abortion regulations and killed people.
It would be remarkable if the left would ever get the facts before politicizing a tragedy. No one knows if stronger law would have prevented this, As I understand at this point it is pretty clear the company was not following Texas and Federal laws regarding reporting chemicals.
So where is the blame for OBama for not enforcing Federal law? The same place Stuart Leavenworth's brain is at. Nowhere.
Latest U-Haul Index Shows Californians Leaving for Texas
The U-Haul Index, popularized by economist Mark Perry, shows how much extra people in California are willing to pay to get out of town and head for Texas.

... and judging from the comments there doesn’t seem to be a democrat who’s not a sociopath. F em all.
With them its politics uber alles.
I would say in general political cartooning has been in a dark age for decades.
I want to be one of them. Anyone looking for a good MEMS process engineer?
10 of the 14 people killed were first responders who rushed to the nighttime blaze.
