"Attorney general promises government working to protect illegal aliens"
U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, in remarks that largely have escaped notice, has claimed that creating a mechanism for [illegal aliens] to earn citizenship and move out of the shadows is a matter of civil and human rights.
Holder also said that the federal government will work hard to safeguard the rights of language minorities.
These claims are likely to add fuel to the growing controversy over the Senate amnesty proposal developed by the so-called Gang of Eight.
Holder made these remarks in an April 24 speech to the Mexican American Legal Defense and Educational Fund Awards Gala. MALDEFs notable activity includes suing Sheriff Joe Arpaio and opposing Arizonas immigration law.
Holder said, [I]t is long past time to reform our immigration system in a way that is fair; that guarantees that all are playing by the same rules
However, one of the primary criticisms of amnesty is that it does not treat all immigrants according to the same rules. Instead, according to critics, amnesty would reward illegal aliens by allowing them to bypass established procedures required for legal entry.
Holder framed the amnesty proposal in........

THESE ARE HOLDER'S PEOPLE----"UNDOCUMENTED ALIIENS"
PREACH ETHNIC SOLIDARITY---VOW TO KILL AMERICANS.
BLOOD-CURDLING "LA RAZA STUDIES"--- ACTUALLY TAUGHT IN ARIZONA SCHOOLS FOR TEN YEARS : These shocking quotes are taken directly from A LA Raza textbook "Occupied America" (pg. 167): Supporters would execute all white males over age 16, (also known as the Plan of San Diego). LA Raza school textbook chapter from Occupied America, by Rodolfo Acuña, includes a speech given by university professor Jose Angel Gutierrez: We have got to eliminate the gringo, and if worst comes to the worst, we have got to kill him, (pg. 323).
La Raza books also talk about the need for the govt of Mexico to re-take seven states in SW United States. so that the Southwest USA would become a Chicano nation.
YOU ARE PAYING FOR THIS In 2005 alone, $7.9 million in taxpayer funding was given to "La Raza charter schools" via the US Dept of Education grants. These charter schools stress Latino culture, the Spanish language, the re-conquest of the American Southwest, the establishment of the mythical Atzlan on US soil, and even Aztec math.
La Raza is using taxpayer funds to organize the murdering of Americans; the federally-funded La Raza organization operates 100 charter schools across America.
ARIZONA SCHOOL BOARD NUT CASE--- Adelita Grijalva is the woman on the Arizona school board pimping La Raza ethnic solidarity indoctrination programs in Tuscon schools. Adelita is all up in arms about Raza Studies getting tossed via the AZ state legislature's action...she is the daughter of Raul Grijalva (D-AZ-7) who was just narrowly re-elected to our US Congress.
Cong Raul Grijalva (and friend) is one of Mexicos most productive and loyal representatives in our Congress....aiding--abetting and funding La Raza studies.
this Amnesty bill is horrendous.
1. it gives illegals amnesty
2. allows the new Amnestied citizens to bring in their families back home from Mexico and other hell holes(100 million new 3rd world immigrants
3. it creates a new visa
4. it is over 800 pages and growing ( have the American people read it no because the media is hiding what they are doing )
5. creates new gov bureaucracies
they want to finish off America. this all started with the 1965 kennedy immigration bill (after that 80% of the legal immigrants came from the 3rd world . no country allows this level of immigration from the world’s sewers. democrats destroyed the greatest society by importing maggots. these legal immigrants provided a home base for illegals, communities etc. repeal the 1965 immigration bill
pass this on
Graphic courtesy of auntb.
and call congressmen too .
only hope of stopping this is in the House imo
PING
AS SICKIOFLIBS INSIGHTFULLY POSTED: There is winning or whining, we need to choose. Post-2012 we now know "Immigration Reform" is a dangerous issue for Repubs---they are cornered.
A Morning Joe guest pointed out that even suckup Obama once voted against immigration reform b/c it lacked a path to citizenship----a key demand of strongarm unions.
MJ guest also observed that unions are not enthused about immigration reform b/c legalized workers will compete with union members (exactly why business wants it). Now unions will go along IF illegals get the vote (cunning union bosses calculate this will help them b/c illegals will vote Dem/lib).
SOLibs SOLUTION---HOIST THEM ON THEIR OWN PETARD Repubs in the House should not do or say anything until Reid gets a bill passed. At that point, Rs offer a compromise that is similar to Obama's relentless EO's.....but contains no path to citizenship.
Now if Reid fails, the GOP goes into 2014 rubbing the debacle into the faces of a key Dem base (EXACTLY how Obama plays Rs against each other) .
It is important that Repubs say things like America is built on hard working immigrants and we welcome those immigrants who want to follow our laws, pay their taxes and live the American Dream (the way O sucks up----not pull a Romney 47% gaffe). When the bill dies for lack of union support-Repubs can then blame Dems and Obama for making the perfect the enemy of the good.'
Amen.
Bump!
> The whole purpose for amnesty is to register 30 million new democrat voters.
And wouldn’t it be funny as hell if they voted against them.
Amnesty is Not a civil right.Where in the Bill Of Rights will you find it?
These liberal Communist SOB’s like Holder and Obama like creating New rights out of thin air,While at the same time attempting to kill Rights that are already listed in the Bill of Rights Like our Second Amendment.
these immigrants are from the 3rd world and they hate America, middle America, and Republicans.
immigrants are not Americans. they don't believe in small government , freedom, middle America etc.
I don’t know about that. I’ve met some very political Hispanics in my time. Once they have their feet planted they tend to be conservative in nature or at least the ones I’ve been around. They’re told they’re supposed to be Democrats by the Democrats but if you watch them they live like a conservative
and It's not just hispanics , a million other types of 3rd world immigrants, Haitians, zomalis, pakistanis you name it. they are not Americans so they don't share our values of small government , liberty, invidual rights like the 2nd amendment, I talk to all sorts of foreigners they hate Republicans and the fact we own guns.
How can amnesty be a “civil right”?
In what country?
Does this idea apply to Americans too?
Holder is obsessed with race, payback against whitey and destroying America.
He belongs in prison along with Obama, Napolitano, Hillary, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and about 2,000 of their closest associates.
“Holder: Amnesty is a ‘civil right’”
Horse manure. So, if this two-bit lawyer is right, then every human being on the planet has the “civil right” to plop themselves down in the middle of the USSA and to latch on to Uncle Sugar’s teat.
It’s too bad we do not have a functioning legislative branch. Mr Holder is a textbook case for impeachment.
Let’s face it. Civil rights are only rights as long as those in charge say they are.
I have reached the point that I am almost completely against “civil and human rights” especially as defined by this by this Regime and its adherents.
These people have been emboldened to move much further to the left than I ever expected. They need to be watched very carefully. This is way beyond classic pub vs dem debates about taxes and benefits.
holder is the poster boy of what is wrong with affirmative-action and equal-opportunity.
Holder and the entire Obama retinue (many dredged out of the Chicago sewer system, are murdering this nation. It will take decades to right the egregious errors caused by this experiment in electing a negro, totally unknown, as president.
It’s as though we’d decided to kill America.
