Glenn Beck has spent lots of time in recent days alleging that the Boston Marathon bombing was carried out by a conspiracy that revolved around a shadowy Saudi national questioned by police in a Boston hospital in the immediate aftermath of the tragedy.
OK, is he just winging it here, or does the ex-Fox, now-independent radio and Internet video host have any real evidence for this charge?
He says he does, unsurprisingly. On his show Wednesday morning Mr. Beck produced a document that he claimed is an official US “event report” showing that the Saudi in question is a bad, bad man who was on a no-fly list and already subject to visa revocation.
What he didn’t mention is that Fox News reporter Bret Baier has already looked into this whole alleged Saudi conspiracy, including the document Beck deemed so revealing, and concluded that there was no there there, to paraphrase writer Gertrude Stein’s jibe about Oakland.
It’s “false and misleading” to use the internal document on the Saudi’s immigration status as evidence of the man’s involvement in the bombings, according to US officials quoted by Mr. Baier in a Fox video blog on April 23.
“The FBI says the Saudi [in question] was just a victim of the terrorist attack,” said Baier...
But Bret Baier had this piece of paper already. On Tuesday, he talked with US officials about it, and got a different story.
First off, Baier said the wording of the paper was indeed somewhat dire.
“Anyone looking at this would say this is a bad guy, this means they had a lot of stuff on this guy,” he said.
But officials told him it was simply an automatic piece of customs paperwork triggered when police went to question the Saudi in the hours after the bombing...

I doubt this saudi was/is a double/triple agent. Said agents are NOT given a 212 3 B status.
He had an event file already, he was trouble and DHS is lying as usual. This whole thing reeks.

Good succinct summary! However, I don’t recall it being said that he had ‘another’ 212 3 B, I don’t know how that could even be possible. I know he had 2 event files. If I missed something, please let me know. Thanks
What would this Beck person, whoever he is, and I honestly don’t know, except from seeing his name here, what would he sell his advertisers if he didn’t invent conspiracy theories WEEKLY WORLD NEWS style? Discussions of the price of celery (unusually pricey this year in this region)?
This reminds me. What does telebision sell and to whom? Ya thinks it sells the products advertised to the viewing public? Uh, huh. It sells your time to the advertisers. Kill your TV.
Have you seen the outdoor group photo with Al-Harbi and friends in traditional Arab dress? Notice that he's the only one present wearing a white kafiyeh with a black head band. I've been told that only royalty can wear that particular combination.
If the guy is Saudi royalty, he's not an agent, but a renegade Islamist of some sort. In my opinion, that's why heaven and earth was moved to get the 212 3B lifted, and why the Saudi Ambassador was at his bedside right after he was admitted to the hospital.
This guy is important. To someone. Someone with the power to pull the strings of our government and national security agencies.
Records also indicate that he visited the White House on multiple occasions. How does a lowly foreign student from an Arab country manage to get into the White House so many times, unless he's got 'credentials'?
And he attended the same mosque as the bombers??

Look at the photos of Al-Harbi in the hospital. Do those hands look burned to you?
Note also that he's grinning from ear to ear in every picture. Have you ever seen a burn victim so relaxed and cheerful? I haven't.
They appear to be genuine. They match seamlessly with other photos taken of her visit to the hospital that day.
From what I understand they own about 7%. I put the leftward tilt in FOX to the problems in the U.K. Holder & Co. Were making threats to get all his broadcast media licenses pulled over the phone taps in the U.K. and open full boreinvestigation here. That was about a year before the last election. That went away and FOX became more liberal. It wouldn’t surprise me to find out that info damaging to the cases in UK and Murdoch’s employees is material being obtained by the NSA and CIA and provided indirectly to the prosecutors to keep the pressure on here so FOX goes easy on Obama.
