“Excellent post! If law enforcement cant hit an armed suspect with hundreds of rounds, what chance does the citizen have of hitting an armed susp with 7 rounds?”
Not the best analogy. The citizen defending himself or his family in most instances won’t be firing at a fleeing target, but will be engaging an agressor up close.
Good point. I guess most of the rapid fire I heard on video was from the AR’s(or was it M16’s) carried by police.
You missed the intent of the post. I am being critical of limiting citizens to 7 rounds magazines.
“Dick Durbin was on CPSAN. He said gun control is not dead but that they are going to need another Newtown.”
Did he really say that? I would have bet they were thinking it but I’m really surprised they would verbalize it.
Just keep gun free zones in place and eventually we may have enough children slaughtered that we can have true gun control and then full control of the populace and enslave the remaining children. This is what DICK durbin would be saying.
It’s been mentioned in the past that ammunition be made with a one year shelf life, that would have to do with powder and I’m sure performance would immediatly be effected. Of course this would only be the ammo sold to citizens. Also an extremly high tax on ammo has been suggested, years ago senator monihan from New York suggested a $100 per round tax, he was a democrat of course and was always looking out for the intrest of us common folk.
I have ammo to fit all the firearms I have and for some I don’t have maybe I should buy a 7mm Rem. mag and a .44 mag.
I still by for what I have when I find it if the price is any where reasonable.
What’s even worse is that I bought a 22lr firearm to SAVE MONEY ON AMMO. Ha! Fat chance of that happening. When I do find the ammo it is dramatically more expensive than it used to be!
Propane tanks, oxygen tamks, oxygen bars, garden fertilizer, kerosine, swimming pool supplies, weed killer, antifreeze, welding equippment, car batteries, natural gas, air compressors...
... could go all day with this. But always remember: The most powerful weapon at your disposal is your own mind.
Anyone notice the MSM and authorities are mum on the type of firearms used by the bombers?
Usually they would be holding them up, taking photos, demonizing the type they were using.
In this case, nada.
Regarding morgue table guy / suspect #1 / black hat guy, I definitely heard a statement from one of the hospital docs (maybe the coroner) stating that he had been shot. Follow up question from the press was “How many times?”
“I can’t tell, too much trauma.”
Given the morgue pic, that’s a reasonable answer.
“Gun control worked perfectly in Boston. Not a single person was shot when those bombs went off... killing three people and wounding approx 200 others.”
A policeman was shot and killed. The other one is still in the hospital and they used a gun in the carjacking.
I wish someone would ask where the guns came from. The older one shouldn’t have been allowed to get a gun permit. If he did, I want to know about it. The FBI had interviewed him previously for terrorist ties and he had been arrested for domestic violence. How did he have a gun???
He was also allowed to travel to Russia last year.
Um...the younger brother was trapped in a small boat. Good chance that if you or your family are attacked at home or outside there will be multiple attackers, coming from different directions, moving and possibly shooting at you.
