About 6 months ago I saw Maher unload on Islam. I never watch the show but I saw this at a lib friends house who thinks Maher is greatest thing since sliced bread

I see what you are saying. However, as one who engages in
a bit of occasional “self inflicted” (ie viewing liberal programing
due to fits of morbid curiosity) I have seen enough of Maher to
understand the overall drift of his schtick. He is not an intelligent
man and he knows it. But he is a “comedian” and a particularly
witty one, at that. This is not the first time Maher has appeared
to stray off the liberal path. I recall early in his TV career when
he asserted that he was not a liberal because libs scared him
more than conservatives did. Well, he got over his fear of
liberals if he ever really had a fear.
I submit that whenever he veers toward our way of thinking on
a particular issue it is because he wants to demonstrate his
independence and that he has some rebel in his blood. As
you and I know Maher is really just a simple minded bastard
like Behar, Chris Rock, etal.
We tend to love it when noted libs come over to the light side.
David Horowitz....Jon Voight....the late Ron Silver hell, even
Rob (kinky boy) Lowe claims he is evolving. But when it
comes to Maher, I for one, want him to stay where he is...
....always. As accepting and forgiving as I consider myself,

We need more planning on the most local levels of government. That's not an option for many though. A lot of people will be unprepared slaves to anyone who brings them food. I believe that could easily be the plan of our current regime. A lot of mainstream Conservatives think Obama is intentionally destroying our economy, and some believe the DHS arms buildup is to restore order in the chaos that would result from an economic collapse. If this is all true, and it's allowed to be successful, it will be the total end of our Constitution. There won't be any further attempts to pretend this is the country of our founding fathers. They would eventually be slandered as vile criminals in our education system.
We are dealing with intelligent and principled radical leftist. We shouldn't underestimate them. They were allowed to infiltrate our education system, legal system, entertainment industry, news media, and eventually every level of our government. They have defeated us, and destroyed our country. They may sound stupid, but that is often only because they are using intentionally frivolous arguments as part of their strategy of destroying our Constitution. The leadership of the left isn't ignorant like the average supporters they have molded. They study our Constitution to help learn how to best destroy it.
They seem to be putting their end game into effect, and that's what makes everything so different now. Those who still can't see that now aren't looking. We have to face it, and we have to fight tooth and nail in an uphill battle against huge odds. They have been planning this for decades, while many on our side still can't accept what's happening.

Didn’t Maher recently complain about his taxes? I think as he gets older he’s realizing there’s a lot more hypocrisy and idiocy on the left than he had previously been willing to admit.
