I heard Rush interview Rubio this past Thursday. He totally failed to make his case and Rush totally skewered him (very politely, of course). I’m very disappointed in Rubio.
I was disappointed in Rush. After Rubio hung up, THEN Rush went over the amnesty arguments that he should have asked/told Rubio. Very weak, Rush.
Rubio has become the latest RINO, IMO. I will not support him for anything.
Re: Rush’s interview of Rubio, he drove me crazy as every time Rush would ask him a question Rubio would start his answer with “Two things”. It was always two things. What was with that?!

I listened to it and thought just the opposite. Rush sounded more frustrated in the republican party than he was effective in his criticism of the Gang of 8.
Rubio understands immigration policy. INS needs a major overhaul with its chain immigration policies. Chain (family) immigration was instituted by Edward Kennedy as a way of getting votes for the demorat party. It is working better than he ever imagined.
Rubio wants us to give preference to businessmen, scientists, etc. - people who will contribute to entrepreneurism not welfare rolls.
I don’t believe you have to pass an amnesty bill to reform INS, but Rubio was very effective and knowledgeable in his interview with Rush.
Rush has been harping on the fact that only 4% of the public gives a whit about immigration and gun control. He didn’t present that fact to Rubio.
I take it you didn’t notice that Rush declare he thought Rubio was a true conservative, at the end of his show.
Rush left him undamaged even tho he did not like his bill.
