Why in hell do we have to read a British newspaper to learn anything about these Islamic murderers? It seems that our own media have become complicit in Jihad. I have always said that the media gets half of their stories wrong, and the other half they just make up. But now they have become an enemy of the people and the Republic.
“Why in hell do we have to read a British newspaper to learn anything about these Islamic murderers?”
Because we clearly no longer have a free unbiased press.
While the UK bends over backwards to accomodate the most miniscule claim of victimhood, minority, etc., them Brits do love their picture essays, for sure.
Our media here is very adept at presenting the desired PC effect they try to sieve out to the US public. It is why you only see pictures (mostly) of this ‘kid’ as being a clean cut yout’, or the Lanza ‘kid’ as a kid and not a crazy. At least the Brits don’t sensor the images.
It was like that in 2001 as well....
All the US media wanted to follow was the response to the carnage and the discussions of (Why).......
In effect the coverage was all opinion journalism looking for a skull full of mush to invade.....(We are at fault) (Bush did it with his snarky rhetoric)
Nothing has changed, except they cannot blame Bush....so they will find others targets of opportunity like those nasty teabaggers,,,,
People of the same trade seldom meet together, even for merriment and diversion, but the conversation ends in a conspiracy against the public, or in some contrivance to raise prices. It is impossible indeed to prevent such meetings, by any law which either could be executed, or would be consistent with liberty and justice. But though the law cannot hinder people of the same trade from sometimes assembling together, it ought to do nothing to facilitate such assemblies; much less to render them necessary. - Adam Smith, Wealth of Nations (Book I, Ch 10)There is a singular American institution dedicated precisely to a continuous virtual meeting of people of the trade of journalism. That organization is the Associated Press, which has been in existence for over a century and a half - ample time for journalists to become so fully immersed in a conspiracy against the public as to make it second nature. They dont even think about it, they just do it. The AP even publicly codifies some of the things which writers who hope for nationwide AP publication will not say. Such as, for example, use the term illegal immigrant."
