Gym owner Allan said that Tamerlan had once introduced him to an American, Brendan Mess, whom Tamerlan described as his best friend.
Two years ago, Mess and two other men were brutally killed in a Waltham apartment where they were found by police with their throats slit and their bodies covered with marijuana. The murders remain unsolved.

Moore is unhappy with America, well why doesn’t he get the F*c* out? Because where else could this lard ass get away with the crap he does? Where else could he bitch and moan about a large segment of the population and the government where he lives without someone kicking his fat A** or throwing him in jail. Only here in America where he enjoys all the rights he wants to restrict to the lowly the rights he freely enjoys!
You are right. It is a "chip on the shoulder" permanently offended, self-righteous, "personal honor" attitude that is a disease of Islam. Christianity, when it is practiced, recognizes that we are all condemned sinners. Our only righteousness is in Christ and what he has done for us. That is why we can absorb an insult and not go kill a bunch of people.
--How did these two student immigrants get the weapons they used for their attempted escape?
--A 19 yo kid with military experience? Wasn't he supposedly living here for 8 years?
--A 19 yo kid, alone, tossing bombs at chasing police, while driving a speeding SUV? Is this Hollywood script?
--How did so much info surface so quickly. A day or so, and they had interviews with the father in Chechnya, the uncle in Maryland, sisters, friends, etc. Meanwhile, we still don't know Obama's background.
--What possible info could the thug Putin, an anti-American, offer to Obama? What sparked this avenue? Russian dictator/puppet-masters ALWAYS just "help out" for no reason, you know, other than to be a "good guy" - and with no strategic gain or ulterior motives WHAT SO EVER.
I'm still confused.

The recent murders of three men in a Harding Avenue home have unfortunately tainted the city with the mark of violent crime. However, an examination of killings in the city in the past few years reveals that most times, when a murder occurs in Waltham, it is a targeted killing, instead of a random act of violence. An example: A New Hampshire incident two years ago. Examples below:
The case of Soulemayne Yacouba-Issa was a tragedy of domestic violence and a targeted killing. Issa was recently convicted of killing his girlfriend at her Waltham home, after she threatened to leave him.
The case of James Keown while likely the most unusual murder case Waltham has ever seen, was another example of a targeted murder. In that case, Keown, who had been leading a double life, successfully plotted to kill his wife by poisoning her Gatorade. Keown is currently serving a prison sentence for the murder.
While Oscar Lopez, whom authorities suspected murdered his common law wife in 2001, was never arrested, he is believed to have killed somebody he knew his common law wife, according to Americas Most Wanted. He is possibly hiding in Guatemala.
Then there is the case of Benjamin Peirce and Shaquan Jacbos, both Newton residents accused of murdering Adam Coveney, 29, of Waltham, last year. Both men are charged with beating and killing Coveney during a drug deal. A third West Roxbury man is also charged in the case.
Lastly, the case of Michael Coutoumas, was a tragic case of another targeted killing. Coutoumas allegedly shot and killed his wife in November 2010, before turning the gun on himself, according to the Boston Globe.

Excellent article. The Boston Globe is not pulling punches about muslim extremists. The marijuana covered corpse and the big expensive cars certainly suggest that the Bro’s were in the drug business. Some interesting connections should be uncovered when that angle is researched.
Would it be possible for some drug bigwig, possibly a Saudi, to enlist and pull strings on potential perps like the brothers? “We’ll make you rich, you blow up Americans...” Something like that? If not Saudis, maybe black muslims? IE: the Islamoprez’s friends.

Waltham Triple Murder Victims Killed By Neck Injuries
Authorities are continuing to investigate the murders at 12 Harding Avenue.
By Ryan Grannan-Doll Email the author September 15, 2011
Authorities have determined that “sharp force injuries of the neck” caused the deaths of three men at 12 Harding Ave. earlier this week., according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s Office.
The killings of Brandan Mess, 25, of 12 Harding Ave., Raphael Teken, 37, and Erik Weissman, 31, both of Cambridge were ruled a homicide earlier this week, after their bodies were discovered Monday afternoon.
Authorities have not said whether they are looking for suspects, but have said two other men were in the apartment prior to the murders. Authorities have said the killings were targeted and not a random act of violence.
The Middlesex County District Attorney is continuing to investigate the case, along with Waltham and State Police.

A Taunton man was sentenced to life in prison today for the 2009 murder of his girlfriend, a Waltham resident.
A Middlesex Superior Court jury yesterday convicted Souleymane Yacouba-Issa, 37, of murdering Maryse Antoine, 46, of Waltham.
Yacouba-Issa is not eligible for parole, according to the Middlesex County District Attorneys Office. Yacouba-Issa is already serving a 3-4 year prison term for stalking Antoine, of which he was convicted last November.
Yacouba-Issa was previously tried on the murder charge in November, but that the jury was hung on that charge, according to the DAs office.
A Waltham man has been identified as one of the victims of the homicides at 12 Harding Ave on Monday, Sept. 12.
Brandan Mess, 25, a 12 Harding Ave. resident, was one of the victims, according to the Middlesex County District Attorney’s office.
Erik Weissman, 31, and Raphael Teken, 37, both Cambridge residents, were also identified as victims, according to the DA’s office.
The DA is calling the crime a homicide, but has not said what killed the men. Autopsises are scheduled to be performed.
State Police and Waltham Police are investigating the crime along with the DA’s office.
Full coverage of the killings at 12 Harding Ave.
Editor’s Note: Initial information from the DA’s office indicated Raphael Teken’s name was spelled as “Rapheal Teken.” The DA verified the spelling and now says it is “Raphael Teken.”
Good job on this one, Boston Globe.

beware of Muslims being your best friends...
I believe the FBI is “saturated” with these type of terrorists in America. I believe there are so many in their files ... these were simply one of MANY....
Thanks PghBaldy.
Very interesting. I think they should reopen this unsolved murder case ASAP. These men that were killed could have stumbled upon the perp’s radical plans or he could have been linked up at some point with elements of the ‘Russian’ mob ( hence the pot thrown on the bodies) and drug trafficking to support their ‘jihad’. Sounds very violent(3 men with slit throats!!).
You mean when her daughter started dressing like an Islamist woman with long shapeless clothing and head covering she did not have a hint?
