Boston Bombing Suspect 2 in Custody in Serious Condition, Death Penalty the Decision of Eric Holder
Yup I hate the celebrations too. Relief I understand and some contentment at seeing justice done. But the back slapping and high fiving - really? Nothing good came from this event and the law didn’t exactly shine. How does a kid escape being surrounded while his brother gets killed right in front of him? He could have easily killed a lot more innocent people after that. And they totally failed in their martial law manhunt until they gave up and a citizen found the kid incapacitated.
I see nothing worth celebrating here. Hundreds of innocent Americans are scarred physically and mentally fo life and we have trained terrorists in our schools assimilating themselves until they decide to strike. And our president is a Muslim who gave safe passage out of the country to a Saudi terrorist who may have been involved
“...and the younger brother will become the object of their attention and their sympathy.”
I detected some of that today as I watched the network reports. A couple of times they wondered if the younger brother was being “mind-controlled” by the older brother. The liberal media are planting the seeds of victimhood for the younger brother.
What the hell are you talking about? I wish him to suffer the indignities of prison for the next 60 years. To grow old knowing what he did and the life he could have had. To suffer and suffer and then die and then spend eternity in hell.
Actually I would rather see him go to Supermax. Death is too good for this sh*tbag. What do they do anyway when they put someone to death? Thanks to liberals they put them to sleep painlessly like they are kittens. Screw that. Put him in a cell the size of a bathroom for the next 60 years where he is watched 24 hours a day by a camera until he goes nuts, where the only human contact he will ever get will be nobody. They beg for death in that place.

Considering that I’m Not a liberal:

There will have to be a change of venue. And every public comment by government officials (to include especially the president) will be considered to have biased the jury pool.
A defense attorney is going to get plenty of grist for his mill...
(mainly because every elected official is going to have to feel he has to get his face on camera and say something...)
No pressure on him to say much given this administration, not that he knows much (if he did he would not have been on the mission he would have been a planner).
I think there will be mindless blabbering for what will seem far too long, then he’ll skate.
If he has a good sob story and his relatives say they love America Obama might pardon him, IMHO. His uncle Borat was layin’ it on pretty thick this morning.
Hey, Marc Rich was pardoned.
Sorry for the skepticism, but justice is rare commodity nowadays.
If he gets a serious penalty it will be recruiting fodder anyway - very much so in Chechnya.
IMHO, we’d better slam the golden door and get the refuse out.
At a cost of $30,000 a year to the taxpayers, 60 years incarceration of this monster will amount to $1,800,000.
Be a whole lot cheaper to give him the needle (or noose) now.
That's the same argument anti-death penalty liberals always use.
I suspect the families of the victims want the scumbag dead ASAP. I sure would.
Considering the cost of appeals over the next 20 plus years, to just incarcerate him would be cheaper.
Not part of my overall argument. I want him to suffer for years in prison then death via old age ... eternity in hell to follow. My thoughts are for maximum suffering then eternity.
They want to execute the guy before he has time to squawk about working for 0bummer
Let’s see how many very stupid lovelorn young women will ‘fall in love’ with this cretin thinking their love will find purpose. Wait for it but its coming.
I don't know whether that's one of the dumbest, or one of the most ignorant comments I've seen during this incident.
The people in Boston are celebrating a small triumph over a great evil. It's a natural release of tension and stress, after having sustained the worst terrorist attack on our soil since the Fort Hood massacre.
If you can't find it in your heart to celebrate with them, just leave them be.
Yeah sure like they will get him to trial before Obama is out of office.
I don’t care what you think. As I said this is no time for high fives. So cram it when telling me to “leave them be” dude. No one is stopping anyone from acting silly.
I don't see how they can possibly stretch appeals out that far, when they executed McVeigh so fast. Perhaps Holder and Obama can stretch it til the end of Zero's term, but the next administration is going to be pressured like nobody's business to get the job done.
Same with Hasan.
They talked about mirandizing the guy and the woman, Ortiz(?) said that they were enemy combatants and they had been advised not to mirandize him, so he was not. Lindsey Graham made the recommendation, he was, of course, a JAG.
