Police in Watertown, Mass., reportedly were searching for a heavily armed suspect who may have been involved in the shooting death of an MIT police officer after reportedly taking another suspect into custody early Friday. Police and federal authorities were investigating if the suspects are possibly tied to the Boston Marathon bombing. WCBV-TV said the suspects threw and detonated explosives during a car chase with police.

hmm, it was reported before that Sunil Tripathi was from Pennsylvania. And the dead perp (Mike) doesn’t look like he’s from Africa at all. We need more data before jumping to conclusions on this.

Actually, no. They needed to get their “focus group” together to determine the best approach. With the previous suspect, they sent him home, so as to not highlight the weakness of the no-visa system for Saudi visitors.

22-year-old Sunil Tripathi, a 2008 Radnor High School graduate, was last seen on March 16 at his apartment near Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island.
