So how does that work? Pressure cooker is steam locked inside but suppose to release pressure when too hot?? How do they create bombs with them?

Serious question gentlemen (and any one else familiar w/pressure cookers). I don’t have one (grew up with one that we didnt use alot). They seal in odors, right? Note like a regular cooking pot where aromas escape...so would that be why the bomb sniffing dogs on scene did t respond?
