Weekly Standard ^ | 4/15/13 | Daniel Halper

Posted on 04/15/2013 7:06:18 AM PDT by illiac

"We had an interesting discussion about why fewer students are coming to, particularly from Japan, to study in the United States, and one of the responses I got from our officials from conversations with parents here is that they're actually scared. They think they're not safe in the United States and so they don't come," Kerry tells CNN.

Lily isn't one of them.....but she's smoking nice...... I'll tell you what, having lived thru what she has, she is the most conservative woman I have ever met and she views our country as a potential police state.....

It's funny when I first met her, she was shy and of course she couldn't converse in English. Now you can't shut her up.....LOL!

Another thing, nobody in her family ever owned a car and of course she never drove one herself. While my friend put her thru driver's training classes, she still won't drive because if the intimidation factor.

And oh, I think two years ago she became a naturalized citizen and is now able to vote..........

but explosives going off during a marathon are loads of fun!

Though you have to ask why they don't just stay in their gun-free home countries where the bombings are bigger...

A friend of mine frequently travels overseas. His cabbie in London struck up a conversation after learning my friend is a Texan. After the obligatory Bush bashing, the conversation turned to those evil guns. The cabbie asked my friend if he owns any. My friend replied “Of course!” but did not confess that he has 60 or 70 at least. Not that he felt particularly embarrassed owning such a modest collection, but he figured the incredulous Englishman wouldn’t believe him.

So the Japanese still don’t like our guns 70+ years later? Tsk tsk.

Good. Then maybe they’ll stay home and stop taking up spots in many of our local universities. Around here, many kids in Virginia can’t even get admitted to some of the local schools, because they’re so swamped with foreign students.

Cool Kerry letter, just as real as the Bush one, send it to Dan Rather.

Anything coming from Kerry is probably a myth.
