Under the measure, records of gun sales would be kept, but Ms. Collins said she was satisfied that those records could in no way be compiled into a national gun registry, a fear gun rights groups have been voicing. Gotta be a first. Records which can in no way be compiled. Must be on those Mission Impossible self-destruct tapes.
Kudos to Senator James Inhofe, Republican of Oklahoma, for pointing out Obama's crass political use of the Newton victim's families for his own nefarious schemes. Shame on a President who would take advantage of their grief in such a way. Despicable.
