If you offer yourself as proof Americans are not stupid... I would say, that's not well thought out. Are there intelligent people in America? Of course. That you would even take offense is befuddling. It's a generalization.

In general Americans are stupid. I present as evidence, the election of Barack Obama in 2012. A man doing a miserable job, was given 4 more years based solely on personality.

Seriously? When was that recovery? I think I missed it? Or are you talking about the bailout of the financial sector and the constant WH and media talking points that in spite of unemployment, business failures, inflation, (remember gas and groceries don't count), and stagnant GDP, we're recovering?

I know what your talking points are, it nothing new.

For instance you mention the financial bailout. For a while we didn't know but because fifa we did learn that Bush begain loaning money to the banks in Feb 08 and by Dec 08 most of it had been loaned. Yes Obama continued that.

What about that TARP thingy. That was the the GOP, before obama took office.. Of course Pelosi rubbed the GOP's nose in it when she said the dems would not pass TARP unless the GOP furnished a certain minimum number of votes. So how many GOPers got voted out because they voted for TARP, and can you name the very prominent Randian GOPer who voted for tarp and suffered no consequences, except he didn't get elected to VP.

And of course you like to talk about the Obama stimulus but you don't want to talk about Bush stimulus.

Gaffer accused him of nit picking and you accuse me of being Robert Gibbs. My response is the same, its just a matter of being accurate.
