Vice President Joe Biden won't be following the president's lead and returning some of his pay to the Treasury, but may if his staff faces furloughs.
"The vice president is committed to sharing the burden of the sequester with his staff," his office said in a statement Friday.
As has been noted elsewhere, Biden has a significantly smaller net worth than many of those who have offered to return money to the Treasury or give it to charity in a sign of support for those facing furloughs because of sequestration.

At least for now? More like, at least for forever.

Most. Ridiculous. Stunt. Ever.
Obama’s “giving back” about $16,600. That runs AF1 about five minutes, barely gets it out of DC airspace on the way to another golf or skeet outing.

He wants to make sure he has enough to maintain his high level of charitable giving that he (and many other Democrats like algore) is so famous for.

Biden has been collecting Social Security since 2008 (around $6,500 a year)

The only smart thing he ever did.
Why should he give back money? Just because the head turd did? That is no reason.

If he gives the money back then how will he fund his lavish charitable giving of nearly $400 per year?
To: Cyber Liberty
He doesn’t spend his own money anyway. How much of 16 Gs cover on one of his or his family’s vacays?
He earns 400 per year. He can’t cover his expenditures with that. He doesn’t.
If folks would just do some thinking.
