Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo was released by Baltimore this offseason, and on the heels of comments earlier this week where he suggested that he was cut in part because of his outspoken stance on gay rights and equality issues, Ayanbadejo clarified himself to the Baltimore Sun on Friday. During an hour-long interview he made it clear that he harbors no resentment for the Ravens, and respects them for the support they offered him throughout his career both on and off the field. But that's not all.
...Ayanbadejo had this to say:
"I think it will happen sooner than you think," Ayanbadejo said. "We're in talks with a handful of players who are considering it. There are up to four players being talked to right now and they're trying to be organized so they can come out on the same day together. It would make a major splash and take the pressure off one guy. It would be a monumental day if a handful or a few guys come out."

I disagree.
it would be a dark day for the NFL, athletics in general. There is no place in the locker room for a gay - player or correspondent.
It’s stupid. But liberals will love it. They can “celebrate” gayness and feel all superior.
I don’t care if someone is gay. I don’t care if someone is heterosexual. In either case, I don’t want them telling me what they do behind closed doors.
Our society is going down the sewer, and the liberals are the motivating force.
I hate liberals.
They gonna stand in front of the crowd each with one hand on the next guy’s butt? (Wearing their Justin Bieber tee shirts?)
Tight end now has a completely different meaning....
It seems as if the entire world is all gay, all the time now.
Hopefully there aren’t any Packer packers.
homosexuality is abnormal...it might be found in nature, and we shouldn't hate them or even discriminate in most things, but its not something one has to let others know about....its a very strange thing actually when you really think about what they do for fun....
If an alien came to earth and watched US television, he'd conclude the US is 30% black and 30% homo.
Probably all kickers.
or Cleveland "Browns"....
Our nation is diseased. We are filled with licentiousness. All that is ever talked about - ever - is sex, or is somehow tied to back into a sexual context. For many Americans the orgasm has become the pinnacle of their meager existence. It has become something to be pursued night and day; the fulfillment of their now pathetic lives. They have become utterly consumed by their own fleshly desires. They are incapable of controlling the appetite that they have allowed to control them.
Will Ayanbadejo be one of them? If he thinks that “talking” these guys/gays into coming out of the closet will help them and their careers, he and they will be in for a rude awakening. No doubt the league and the elites will give great support, but the fans and the players will make life miserable for these guys/gays. Football is a macho, contact sport.
‘I’ll shower at the hotel, thanks.’
They’re all f@gs. They love to pat each other on the butts.
This would kill the NFL ratings.
homosexual = financial loss
see jc penny
see roc hudson dvd sales
see ane heche job offers
the list goes on.
The market for NFL views is not homosexuals. If anything it is a group that would flee any such pairing.
I don’t know...I should think that there’s more than four happy players in the NFL. You’d think a lot more would be happy and gay to make millions playing the game. There might even be some homosexuals in the league.(snicker)
