Gov. Dannel P. Malloy signed a bill into law Thursday afternoon that will bring sweeping changes to gun control.
On Monday, a bipartisan agreement on gun control was unveiled by lawmakers that proposed limiting magazines to no more than 10 rounds. Those who currently have larger magazines would have to register them with state police.
The legislation, which is more than 100 pages long, will create strong penalties for anyone who carries large ammunition magazines away from home or a gun range.
The state would also become the first in the country to create a dangerous weapon offender registry and there would be universal background checks for assault weapons.
The House and the Senate voted in favor of the 139-page bill crafted by leaders from both major parties in the Democratic-controlled General Assembly.
Just after 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, the Connecticut Senate voted 26-10 to pass the gun control legislation and the House passed the bill 105-44 just before 2:30 a.m. Thursday.

I went searching for this too...found it and have it saved. Always wanted to know how to make one.
Good luck to the person that tries to bring justice, but they will likely be told that they have no standing and that these traitors have immunity from lawsuits.
Perhaps an effort for impeachment would work, but they will never see criminal charges brought against them, regardless of who is in power... R or D.
I’m still waiting for someone to tell all the residents of Texas, Alabama, Nebraska, Kansas, Mississippi, Georgia, Utah and Arizona that they all need to give up their guns for the safety of the children. When people try to get between God loving, traditional Texans and guns, the result if always far more entertaining than anything the movies can come up with.
CT reminds me of the “last of the archons” star trek episode now:
FESTIVAL FESTIVAL FESTIVAL
It will doubtless be Unexpected
It'd be hard to deny standing to someone directly affected by the law. They may try to claim some form of immunity, but that section of the US Code was written specifically to disallow government agents to use their position to deprive people of civil rights. Its applicability to blatantly unconstitutional laws should at least be tested.
Well, I hope you’re right.... but I will not hold my breath.
Let’s see. I know a guy who used to have a shotgun made in Turkey, a pistol made in Brazil, and a pistol made in Springfield, Mass.
I’m not talking about “attacking” anything. WE are the ones being attacked here.
They will demonize us no matter what we do. Period.
I know it won’t. That belief is one reason why i just a firmly believe things will not be fixed via “the System”.
Dang! You skipped right over Oklahoma. We’re ranked higher than Nebraska in gun friendliness. We have one of the worst grades from the Brady Campaign.
We have some. That Rep in MD that was entertaining the idea of calling up the militia. A smattering of Sheriffs. A few civic leaders in various regions.
Takes time. Some folks don’t even realize they have options...
Damn, I knew I forgot something!
“139-page bill”
THE RIGHTS OF THE PEOPLE TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!
Mark Levin is right, we are living in a post-constitutional America.
"The Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people; it is wholly inadequate for the governance of any other." John Adams
Many in this country are neither moral or religious.
We are in complete agreement.
I'd say 'Boycott Connecticut', but there really isn't any reason to go there in the first place.
I guarantee you: a few no-knock raids, and people will be falling all over themselves to turn their guns in. This WOLVERINES! nonsense is a complete fantasy. There aren't Americans like that any more.
...Put them in the trunk of the car, drive directly away from the state and never come back....
