I can’t decide between Jeb and Christie.

(for my least favorite candidate, that is....)

I am not going to vote for a Marco Rubio UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE if he engineers, is a substantive part of, or a casual adherent to any effort to provide for amnesty, any form thereof to these little weasels that have been raping our country for decades. I don’t give a rat’s goddamn if he thinks it’s the only way Republicans can regain power or not. He can suck it.

I WILL NOT ACCEPT 50 million illegal criminals into the country in which I grew up without a damned fight, period.

It’s little more than light entertainment to see anything on voter preference for the GOP nomination. The electorate is going to be at least D+8 (and a whole lot more if Hillary runs) in 2016. Whoever the GOP nominates will be nothing more than a sacrificial lamb.

Other than it is too soon to even speculate about a Republican candidate, the pollsters should have asked whether there will BE a presidential election in 2016 or will Obama declare himself POTUS for life like Jean Claude Duvalier in Haiti?

We haven’t even made it to the 2014 elections yet, and we’re already taking about 2016?

Get real.

I get so tired of the perpetual ‘elections’.

Enough already,..

Who decided that these 5 are the front runners??
Christie? No friggin way..
Bush? Seriously?
Rand Paul would have to spend every waking moment proving he is not his father..
Ryan would have to spend every waking hour explaining why he was on Romney’s ticket
Rubio? Is likely to sink himself over immigration. He may believe that support it will win him immigrant votes. It will not. Certainly not enough to offset the loss of conservatives.
If this is it we are in serious trouble

Polls don’t show much at this stage. They indicate little more than name recognition and/or the fleeting emotional reaction of the moment.

If Rubio becomes a threat to the left’s stranglehold on power, they will find someone who will lie about an alleged act 30 years ago and try to destroy him.

Man, this is some discouraging info.

I’m for a Cruz/Carson ticket. We need to start now. I can’t stand all the others!

I don’t think any of them has a chance at all. Too bland, too afraid to raise their voices.

There is no front-runner now for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, leaving a five- way horse race with no candidate above 19 percent among Republican voters, according to a Quinnipiac University national poll released today.

I doubt the 2016 election will be held...I think Our Friendly MARXIST will cancel it!!

Christie is completely unacceptable. Rubio makes me uncomfortable - I think he stands for getting himself elected and nothing else. Paul Ryan is a good choice - if we can't get an Alaskan with charisma. Rand Paul has the kooky father in the limelight instead of just a crazy aunt in the attic, but confusion among the Rands will hurt him is what would otherwise be at best a close election. Bush? He wouldn't impress me even if he didn't share a name with two recent presidents who accomplished too little in terms of rolling back government growth.

I have no one in mind. The amnesty brothers Rubio and Paul are just setting themselves up to split the conservative base. Bachamnn is the best one out there, but she was attacked in the primaries. And she has no interest left in running now. Palin don’t seem interested either in running and she is the next best person out there to me. Maybe Allen West or Jim DeMint or Dr. Ben Carson. But of the listed choices...none.

"...while the Democrats will do a better job 49 - 37 percent on health care, 49 - 28 percent on same-sex marriage, and 42 - 38 percent on immigration. "

Define "better job". What kind of ridiculous question is that?
