From what I hear the people in SK think Obama is hanging them out to dry, and they are mad.

Yet another relationship Obama is destroying.

I think you may be on to something here. I remember a few articles in the last year or so where the Chinese are terrified of a South Korea/North Korea reunification. With South Korea's massive technology base and industry(particularly shipbuilding), the thought of endless workers that could propel that country to the top economically frightens them. They may move in and just finish NK off for their own nefarious purposes.

Reunification would eventually turn into a huge building boom in the former NK. China would be the logical supplier of building materials as well as goods for a new consumer market.
