I’ve no patience with gays any more. As a group, I despise them and wish they’d go back into the closet where they came from. And I’m not ashamed to say it.

I don't see anything there that merits an apology whatsoever. They DON'T get to change the definition! That is -- and has to be -- our stance.

AND? What is the controversy? The sex positive agenda believes that ALL sexual pairings should be celebrated without moral judgments. They preach that orgasm is a birthright to be enjoyed at every age regardless of sex, age, relation, marital status, number, or species of partner(s).
That slippery slope keeps slipping. RECALL that the gay mafia said that this was ONLY about the activities of consenting ADULTS in PRIVATE. Here it is in schools being pushing on MINORS and in the courts for MARRIAGE and ADOPTION. When does the child consent to being brought into an alternative lifestyle home?

Why apologize..what he said was absolutely RIGHT..homosexuality is a perverted sexual behavior..period!! I dont see the media demanding that sleaze ball Jason Biggs apologize for trashing 1.2 billion Catholics on twitter with his disgusting comment about the Pope..but if you say something that is TRUE about gays, all hell breaks loose. I am sick of this crap..I am not going to bow down to these fruitcakes

Political Rule #1: If you intend to run for a high public office, bridle your tongue.
A seemingly innocent utterance has done in many a political career.
Sounds to me that Carson was shown the political light that anything goes as well as that he is not a total social conservative. Question! To his admirers does this make him better POTUSA material?
His primary point was that NO group ('gay', straight or otherwise) should get the right to change the definition of marriage. And he went on to effectively support that exact point under the hostile questioning of Andrea Mitchell.
Sounds to me like he’s taking the biblical view.
He got too close to the truth...
Once Marriage is redefined, the legal eagles on our side of the ledger note challenges in regards to polygamy, marrying your cousin, marrying a family member etc etc are not out of the question. Andrew Sullivan noted what is the definition of marriage, is it of a finite time, can it be open etc.
many here on FR have posted stories from Canada and Europe from real newspapers with articles such as should we take another look at incest etc, much like 20 years ago articles about gay marriage appeared
Again "they" as Progressives will push the boundaries and no one will entertain all the other "things" that will became a legal battle, while their "liberal allies" in this don't see the cause and affect and are only all about the feelings of this issue, and are low information voters at best.....
We are entering uncharted territory and we are about to throw out the map we have because a handful think they know better...

This crap is extremely damaging to society. The validity of art, literature, medicine, etc is now secondary to ideology.

Forgetting, apparently, that there are scores of people raking over his every word and public utterance, he included
gays, Nambla, and bestiality in the same conceptual sentence, while making a larger point.
They don’t care about larger points, or reasonable discussion.
He gave them the handle they needed.
Further discussions about gay marriage needn’t provide such
easy “guilt-by-associational” lumpings-together.
They will jump on them every time.
Unfortunately for him, what could he have said by way of
“apology” for “offending”?
Could he have said “I didn’t mean to compare Nambla or those into bestiality with the proponents of same-sex marriage?
That would have been taken to mean that he WAS comparing all three of them, as co-equal political positions, both deserving of some measure of respect and legal viability.
And they aren’t-—NAMBLA and bestiality proponents will NEVER get their agendas set into law.
This is a mistake. They are pushing him back on his heels already. We can never win when we let them intimidate us for speaking our minds. When was the last time somebody on the left gave a sincere apology for anything?
I call homosexuality sick and deviant. Formerly there has been no point to or reason for apprising gays of this opinion but since they are putting their sexuality out there my honesty compels me.
Dr Carson is wrong on at least two counts.
First he shouldn’t have apologized.
Second and more importantly:
“It’s a well-established fundamental pillar of society...”
No it isn’t! It is a well-established fundamental pillar of NATURE, CIVILIZATION AND HUMANITY!

So tired of hearing someone brave enough to take a stand on something, then turn around and apologize for it.
Honestly, say it, and stand or fall by it....but don’t apologize. It only gives strength to the wrong people.
