Sixteen hundred rounds of ammo? Big deal. Boy, the media sure are a bunch of breathless bedwetters.
The gas ran out, so the media are now pushing it as far as they can with this tragedy.
His mother would have bought anything he wanted and passed CT’s background check with flying colors. The ex-con who shot the corrections chief in CO last week had a woman buy the gun for him. She had no problem getting it for him.
This background check legislation is simply a stalking horse for the federal government’s attempt to disarm Americans. It has next to nothing to do with preventing mass shootings by young men hopped up on mind-alterning medications prescribed by doctors.
I’m a little confused by a report this morning, which said that all victims died via .223 rounds fired by a Bushmaster. I thought the Bushmaster was not in the building.
What is the real truth on this? What is the most reliable source?
Another piece of the story that makes no sense. If Lanza was so clearly disturbed as he has been made out to be then his mother had no business arming him the way she did.
His mom was even more moronic than I assumed.
What was the purpose of saying he had his own gun safe? What was in it? I have more than 1600 22lr rounds myself. What does 1600 of something have to do with anything? I know less now than I did. Why is CNN allowed to broadcast?
A loaded 12-gauge shotgun was found in the glove compartment of the Honda Civic Lanza drove to the school with two magazines containing 70 rounds of Winchester 12-gauge shotgun rounds.
We must BAN gun safes!!!! Immediately for the children you know...
It is like the term,”Territoral Imperative”. It means whatever the sayer says it means.
Since DHS is getting approx 21,000 rounds per each of their 70,000 agents allegedly for target practice what is the big deal about 1600 rounds for two people?
So who bought them? Is this to dispute the ‘registration wouldn’t have stopped Lanza’ argument?
“The police found a loaded 12-gauge shotgun in the passenger compartment of the car the shooter drove to the school. The shotgun was moved by police from the passenger compartment of the car to the trunk for safekeeping.”

Except the only information which matters: what medications he was taking.
That knowledge is apparently forbidden to us.
Apparently, a C183 is also a camera.
Story says the gun safe was in Lanza’s room, but I remember reading that he pretty much lived in the basement. When the story first broke, there was no mention of whether or not the guns might have been secured or not. Since the safe was not broken into, he may have had the combo or was able to figure it out somehow. I’d like to know if it had a regular or electronic combo. A smart person could probably figure out the electronic combo w/o much difficulty.
Well that puts to rest a lot of questions.
