White House warns GOP against filibuster on gun control bill

White House press secretary Jay Carney on Tuesday criticized three Senate Republicans who have threatened to filibuster Senate gun control legislation. Carney said a filibuster would be unfortunate and would send the wrong message to the families of gun violence victims.

Notice-- I'm sure most have-- but to be clear, the WH has perversely re-framed this issue by not as a Constitutional rights issue, because it's a sure loser for them, but as a victims' rights crusade.
As if we change the Constitution in response to behavior of criminals. Essentially that is what we have here.

Arrest and imprison ANY government representative who promotes infringement of the 2nd Amendment. They should not be allowed to get away with this. Our Constitution is CLEAR on this.

I have a feeling that many of the elected officials pushing for, and particularly the ones that enacted gun control measures will decide to not run again or are up against term limits.
