Thank you for asking about me. I haven’t been active on the streets for awhile now, though I visit FR every day. I had both my knees replaced at the same time last year and it was difficult, but I am better for it and can walk and keep up with my grandchildren...almost!
I had cataract eye surgery two weeks ago on my left eye and I had the right eye fixed yesterday. I can see without glasses and everything is now bright, colorful and very clear. It’s an amazing transformation, but because of the surgeries, I also can’t dig through all my DC Chapter memorabilia for photos and memories of Dr. Raoul.
Over the years, Dr. Raoul brought me t-shirts, signs, books, props for the DC Chapter and generously contributed to the button fund with money and ideas. He was a dynamo and we all had fun and enjoyed protesting together.
Prayers for a speedy recovery! I remember all the wonderful after action reports you would post..enjoyed everyone of them. It is so good to see so many of the originals on this thread..that alone brings tears to my eyes.
Wow!
Great to see you and many others FRom the clintoon years.
I Luv them FReepers!
Long time no see! Hi to you both!
Really too bad that it has to be such a sad occasion to bring us all together. Doctor Raoul was unique, wasn’t he. We all knew what an exceptional FReeper he was, but looking at all the pictures and memorial tributes, he was one of a kind. His family must be amazed!
Take care, you gals!
You, Kristinn, Dr. Raoul and many others did such a great job in DC for many years. You were on the front lines. Thank you for your loyal patriotism! You all were an inspiration to the rest of us Freepers all over the country.
This is a very sad loss for all of us. Dr. Raoul will be missed.
