Doctor Raoul died Saturday of a rare form of cancer. He was 58.
Raoul's family contacted us this morning to see if they could find out more about his activities as an activist.
This is such a shock. His family is looking for photos and stories about him.
He is and always will be a Free Republic icon.
He kind of fell off the face of the earth about 2 or 3 years ago now. All attempts we made to reach him failed.
If you have photos please contact me. Please feel free to post stories and I will make sure the family sees this thread.

Tiggles - you did Raoul well. Great video. Perfect last picture.
Raoul’s family will be very happy watching his “other side”.

I forgot to say that I used photos from a number of Freeper sources... you, Gunn Nut, BillF, Staytrue, Ironman, Angelwood, Kristinn...
Raoul was the best friend a person could have asked for, and I know his family is going to miss him so much...
To: tgslTakoma
Fantastic! Thanks for that.

Doctor Raul sometimes demonstrated by himself. A one-man show. Doc was one man tea party, long before there ever was a tea party.
When I saw the couple million or so march in DC on 9-12 a couple of years ago, I though to myself that Doctor Raoul was one of the founding fathers of that.

Thank you so much, tgsl!
I watched, with a lot of tears streaming down my face. I am having a hard time getting my head around the fact that he is truly gone from us.
May Doctor Raoul rest in eternal peace.

Your video is absolutely AWESOME, FRiend! (Wiping the tears from my eyes now) Just perfect.
I'll be back online later, and I'll ping my biggest list to your incredible video. Just returned from a long trip... unfortunately I have limited time to FReep today.
It's so good to see you back on FR, FRiend. We hope you and your family are doing well... :-)

I echo the others - “Excellent! Beautiful! Wonderful!” I laughed and I cried while I watched it. Thank you for creating it.
