IRS Releases “Star Trek” Parody Video

THAT's the real rib-tickler here.
The IRS has a "Sudio"?
They must also have a weapons depot to store all that ammo. I have an idea on how our government could save or even make some money.
Sell the F-ing studio and the ammo!
Sheesh - you can’t get much for 4 million dollars anymore...
A “mistake”? When a citizen makes a mistake the IRS is all over him like flies on a democrat.

“Beam me up!” - Former Representative (and convicted felon) James Traficant (D) on the IRS
For 4 mil, they could at least made it entertaining.
yes, and then this “Congressional investigators initially sought both the “Star Trek” video and the “Gilligan’s Island” video but after viewing them determined that the “Gilligan’s Island” video was a legitimate training video. The IRS did not release the “Gilligan’s Island” video”. So how in the heck did they determine it was “legitimate”? What a freaking crock. If this had happened during George’s rein the press would have yelped so loud someone would be unemployed. We can’t give children tours of the WH but we can fund STUPID!
And they won’t furlough the employees until after tax time.
After they rack up hours and hours of over time so being furloughed will not make any difference anyway. It’ll just be a paid vacation.
Enjoy paying your taxes citizen... those who do pay taxes anyway. As for the rest, screw you back.
"I'm cuttin' da Federation in fer... forty percent."
Not enough black actors on the GI training video?
Very cheesy video.
Has the same quality of the “Innocence of Muslims”. Probably produced by the same people.
Anyhoo, at least they weren't a government agency requiring you to buy the music. Although according to the Supreme Court, if the federal government did so now, it would probably be considered a tax.
That IRS Star Trek video will cause spontaneous demonstrations.
Ha! The IRS is a Total mistake!!!!
A video for IRS people instructing them so that they get lost on some uncharted tropic isle would be worth every penny.
I remember the label well too. The 1980s were my heyday.
Some of my favorite music from the 80s era include Wall of Voodoo (Stan Ridgeway’s Wall of Voodoo), The English Beat, Squeeze, R.E.M., etc.
I was in the Navy for much of the 1980s, but I remember how jazzed I felt whenever I could find and buy an occasional I.R.S. cassette or CD for sale in my ship’s tiny store when I was deployed on WestPac cruises.
A friend on mine onboard from New Jersey always thought how cool the “secret agent” I.R.S. logo was.
