I’m up here in NW Washington. Yesterday it was snowing only about 25 miles from me. Spring comes when it feels like it. Since our legislature decided a few years back that hydro power was not a renewable resource, power really isn’t that cheap. I guess once water goes through the powerhouse it’s just gone for good. Who knew?

Not really; as "spring" has a set definition - the time of year between the vernal equinox and the longest day of the year.
TEMPERATURE has nothing to do with it.
Note that the above is for the Northern hemisphere.
"Spring" starts 6 months later in Australia.
