I’m thinking it might be time against for Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) and Ted Cruz (R-TX) to bring on another filibuster to make the American people aware of the lack of transparency on the Obama administration’s part in acquiring these billions of rounds to be used in the service of homeland security. I’m more interested in why government agencies and departments that have no reason to purchase ammo are doing so and why are they making purchases from fake ammo companies. We know of one such fake company so there’s bound to be many more. Who’s wallet did those tax dollars disapear into?

DHS needs to be shut down. The reason they need so much ammo is because DHS employees are incompetent. Take the TSA for example. The TSA is only competent enough to abuse amputee Marines, old ladies in wheel chairs and children. I would feel much more confident in traveling if I was able to exercise my 2a rights on airplanes and other forms of public transportation.

We have given up our freedom and billions in tax dollars for less security. Most Americans are frickin' stupid wimps. If we only would abide by the constitution none of these problems would exist.

If the article is accurately reporting the situation, i.e., "They (DHS) refuse to answer the question..." then our form of government has effectively been overthrown. No agency administrator ignores a congressional inquiry unless he's assured of air cover from the White House, and complicit leadership in the House and Senate. It's a coup d'etat. The Supreme Court has ruled that the government may not engage in an act that results in the abatement of a Cinstitutional right. I this case, it is then clearly illegal to buy up all the bullets to I interfere with the 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. Why is nobody but Levin hitting this Constitutional point of law?
