Well, I still like Sarah Palin and Ted Cruz much better than the entire list. I do like Rand Paul in some respects.... loved his 13 hour stand for America and our constitution.
I am very pleased that Saintorum scored low.
Pretty good considering that Ron Paul wasn’t our nominee, what, 7 times or something. This straw poll has always been less than meaningless.
Agreed.
Many many times, so nothing should be surprising about these poll results
No.
Cruz just made a strong defense of Israel and slammed Egypt’s foreign aid. He is very good.
Cruz/Rubio/Paul/Palin/Carson...
The enthusiasm is good especially with 2014 on the horizon.
I LOVE Ted Cruz..I have been very impressed with him from the moment he came on the scene..he is a very good man and I LOVE how he smacks down the libs..if he ever ran for President he would get my vote
For me, CPAC is good for only one thing and only for the past two years: to provide a platform for Sarah to speak unrestrained on national TV. Other than that, it’s virtually useless for actual conservatives. CPAC has become a fake conservative front for the GOPe. Perhaps it always was.
1st 25% Rand Paul 2nd, 23% Marco Rubio 3rd, 8% Rick Santorum 4th, 7% Chris Christi 5th, 6% Paul Ryan 6th, 5% Scott Walker 7th, 4% Ken Carson Ted Cruz 9th, 3% Bobby Jindal Sarah Palin
Total 23 names on ballot + write ins if the voter chose to
I read in another thread that Jeb Bush requested his name NOT be placed on the CPAC Straw Poll. lol
I am surprised that Cruz only got 4%.
.Ted Cruz gets a huge applause yet only gets 4 percent..rigged!!
************
Voting was done before Cruz spoke.
Gee, do ya suppose that may because the voters know he is ineligible?
Romney has won the CPAC straw poll 4 times. Ron Paul has won it twice. It’s irrelevant.
Christie gets 7 percent and Sarah Palin gets 3 percent?
What kind of CPAC is this? Seems hardly Conservative.
Wasn’t Ken Carson Barbie’s boyfriend?
It will be very important for GOP candidates going forward to be fearless and unapologetic conservatives, respond immediately to Democrat smears, and go over the heads of the media and take their message directly to the people.
The candidates who can do that will prevail.
I wonder how many votes Jeb would have gotten... 5?
