The minimum wage law is for the Unions as many union contracts are tied to the level of the minimum wage.

Well, this is a good thing.
To: jazusamo
Good. I want the minimum wage at least 100 dollars an hour and nothing less. lol.

The minimum wage law is for the Unions as many union contracts are tied to the level of the minimum wage.Precisely!
The rats and their union scum and couldn't care less about burger-flipping teenagers - - it's all about the union scales.

0bamacare + Min. Wage Increase = Eradication of Private Sector. With only 0bamacare, it’s barely limping along. 0bama will do all he can to set the stage for 100% government jobs. This is just what Dictators do.
To: Lancey Howard
Absolutely, Lancey. Screw the unions and the Rats. The feds have no business dictating a minimum wage, that's up to the states and it should really be up to employers to pay a person what they're worth.

One of my first jobs was picking grapes in a huge vineyard in South Jersey For $1.20 an hour. That was minimum wage at the time. This was around 1971 I think. Lots of work in the sun and lots of bees!

It was just a back door way of raising tax revenue.
To: dfwgator
Exactly. I bet most PT entry-level jobs where unions are involved pay in the $8-9/hr range. Bumping the minimum wage to $10.10/hr would kill many small businesses and give the Unions powere to force a $11/hr starting wage on the employers.

Of course the dems wouldn’t admit there are consequences related to any of their policies.

You need to go back and reread second to last and last paragraphs. Every Repub present voted against the min wage increase.

I know families which would be better off if someone earned just a buck an hour on a forty hour week. Government has devastated work.

A political ploy that’s going to backfire on him. He has run out of political capital. :)

Poor Little Dick Trumka probably kicked his dog. The unions backdoor plan for a pay increase just went ‘pop’.

Actually your sentence structure was perfect, but I think some people have a problem understanding comma’s.
