Undercover cops fatally shot a teenager in Brooklyn last night after he pointed a loaded gun at an officer, police sources and witnesses said.
Kimani Gray, 16, was shot in the leg and stomach when he whipped out a .38-caliber revolver after adjusting the waistband on his pants, said cops.
The two undercover officers, driving a red umarked car, had approached the group of teens because they were acting suspiciously on East 52nd Street near Snyder Street in East Flatbush just before 11:30 p.m.

No one will miss the difference if you randomly load. 38 rounds intermingled with. 357 magnum rounds. My colt trooper .357 magnum will fire both but the difference between the two is remarkable.
The punks gun is a colt trooper 357, i believe

Yes. I'm certain that universal background checks would have kept him from acquiring a gun.
Try to explain that to a lib, however, and you get nowhere.

looks like a S&W revolver. maybe a bit beat up, but NOT JUNK. the punk stole a quality gun...was probably trying to figure out how to cooly hold it sideways, when he was thankfully brought down to room temperature.
whats your mantra....if its not a glock its junk???

Interesting conversation but the perp would have gotten shot if he pointed a .22 at an officer.

Gray had a rap sheet that included charges of grand larceny and inciting a riot, police sources said.
Quite an accomplishment for a 16 year old. We’ll never know what he might have become.

The cops should have walked out on to the balcony and fired both barrels of their double barreled shotguns into a random area.

That’s how I learned to shoot. .38s in my dads 357. Never did want to try the magnum load.

Probably not. It’s tough mounting Homie side sights on a revolver.

Fascinating that they told the press that little tidbit but refused to answer when they were asked what they were doing on the street.

Looks like another Trayvon type photo. 16 year old? He looks about 12. Oh well, Sharpton and Jackson are expected to arrive in Brooklyn if they haven’t gotten there yet.

Not a Colt... Zoom in on the photo and check the hammer and the cylinder release. The shape of the trigger guard and the frame just below the cyclinder window do favor a Colt, but the hammer and release are not right. From what I can see it is either an old Astra revolver, or a old Rohm. Those things have been floating around for years.
Click here for a clearer picture of one.

In the standard script, the “never hurt nobody” stuff doesn’t come that night or from the crime reporters; it comes roughly two days later from the “human interest” reporters.
