There have been viable women-run societies before. Like the Navajos. They tend to be peaceful and last a long time. They also tend not to change or improve. If you want change or improvement, a male-run society can stir things up, invent things, expand empires, etc.. But it is dangerous.
If you want a healthy balance between stability and innovation, try a mutually respectful cooperation between the two. (like a good marriage).
And pray a lot.

My Daddy used to tell me to never trust a husband who said he was the head of the household because he'd lie about other things, too.
My brother put it more succilently. He said he was the head of his household only in the nautical definition of the word head.

Exactly. Women, and emasculated males are who are in charge of our world at the moment - and it shows in our inability to make the hard choices necessary for our very survival.

Does Dee Dee Myers consider an elected leader of a democracy to be the ‘ruler’ of that democracy?

Woman's Day here in Russia is nothing like Dee Dee Myers all the halfwit liberals imagine it to be. Woman's Day is a combination of St. Valentine's Day and Mother's Day on steroids. Stores sell more chocolate, champagne and flowers than at any other time of year. It's also a great day for catering parties.
All this is to celebrate women for being women. NOT an opportunity for a few hags to complain that the world would be a better place if women were in charge.
BTW, there is a “Men's Day” celebrated in Russia. It used to be known as Red Army Day, but in recent years the government has tried to make it broader, although many people still regard it a celebration of those who served in the Red Army..
