I'm an Idaho resident working in San Diego. Most of last year I had looked forward to my trip home for Christmas with the family and an opportunity to pick up a new rifle. I was passing through Baker, CA about 10:30 AM on Dec 14th when the Rush Limbaugh program disappeared from the radio and was replaced by a continuous rehashing of information about the school shooting at Sandy Hook. Before I could get home to Idaho, the gun store shelves had been picked clean. I made the return drive to San Diego on Jan 2nd to resume working. The rifle purchase never happened. I may be legislated out of the opportunity before I make my next visit home in June.

I doubt it. Boehner told Reid in effect you first. Reid won't expose his rats in the general election for a bill that can't pass the House, where the vast majority of the GOP members' predominant concern is being primaried from the right.
