I certainly wish you well, but do not feel it is appropriate for me to contribute money to a Senate race in another State. It is up to South Carolinians to determine if the man represents them.

Frankly, I was amazed when he was reelected in 2008--disgusted, amazed, but forced to recognize that the decision was not mine, as an Ohioan, to make.
