I'm sorry but i've had enough of John McCain and Lindsey Graham.
Please check out the hashtag #PrimaryGraham on Twitter.
For me, defeating Lindsey Graham is a top priority in 2014 and I'm saving now.
I would like Freepers to join me in this thread to PLEDGE to support Lindsey Graham's 2014 SC GOP United
This is a critical fight and Graham must become the Bob Bennett and Dick Lugar of 2014.
Imagine the message we will send once McCain's butt boy is defeated.
His likely opponent will be a state Senator called Lee Bright. He is fully vetted as a small gov't conservative.
Graham has $6 million of lobbyist cash in his campaign account. Bright will need your help and support to be competitive and get himself on TV, radio and to run a competent campaign so the good people of S.C have a proper choice.
Join me and pledge now to #PRIMARYGRAHAM !!
DeMint is not running for anything ever again, why would he? he’s head of heritage and would take a massive paycut to go back to the senate? as if that’s likely to happen.
Personally, McLame was SUCH a disappointment after the Bore-Kemp ticket that I would have gone third party but for Palin’s presence on the McLame ticket.
“This is a critical fight and Graham must become the Bob Bennett and Dick Lugar of 2014.”
I hope not. Defeating Lugar got us Joe Donnelly, another Harry Reid sock puppet. Let’s at least nominate somebody who can keep his foot out of his mouth and head out of his....
John McCain, the same guy who, IN THE MIDDLE OF A DEBATE, said we had nothing to fear from an Obama “presidency.”
I wrote in Palin for President. Didn’t vote for McCain for anything.
Yes... somebody who will first swear off commenting about rape.
STANDING WOLF FOR PRESIDENT !
And getting rid of Bennett got us Mike Lee.
So what?
You think a self-interested "pay cut" consideration is all that informs what Jim DeMint does politically? You must not know Jim DeMint very well.
My father is was one of Mrs. DeMint's family health specialists and is a personal as well as professional friend.
He'd run again if he thinks it will better position Tea Party ascendency.
Just curious: are you any relation to Ligon Duncan?
FReegards!
I voted for McCain because the other option was 0bama, and I suspect that was the case for the great majority who voted for him. Palin had zero impact in that regard; however, Palin’s presence did provide about the only spark of ideological enthusiasm I felt for the ticket, even though I think she has her own problems in a national contest. I was more or less voting for a bullet to America’s guts rather than the head shot we ended up with, just like this last election. McCain’s probably going to go full lefty in this last at bat because he knows his time is up and his influence is on the wane. His only shot at relevance is throwing a wrench into the works whenever possible. Anything as long as the 0bamamedia will pat him on the head and say nice things about him.
What I just sent to the GOP at their website contact form:
I have been a registered Republican my entire life.
But with John McCain’s reaction to Rand Paul’s filibuster, I will NOT contribute to the GOP again until McCain apologizes to Rand Paul, Ted Cruz and the others. Otherwise, not until he is longer in the Senate.
What McCain said is beyond the bounds of propriety.
“...during Reagans first campaign, for California governor in 1965, the State Republican Party chairman Gaylord B. Parkinson issued his 11th Commandment, which said, Thou shalt not speak ill of any Republican. And, Mr. Parkinson warned, Henceforth, if any Republican has a grievance against another, that grievance is not to be bared publicly.
Reagan so believed in and espoused this principle, that some attribute it to him.
SO is it clear what my point is?
McCain (and Lindsey Graham) owe Paul, Cruz, the GOP and the Conservative citizens of the USA an apology.
I have never thought that a 3rd party movement is right.
Ross Perot got Bill Clinton elected.
But, despite the seeming contradiction, I am beginning to get on board with the thought that it is time for a NEW party...
:-(
The rate things are going, the GOP will be a 3rd party.
Sure, they go back to private life with a life-time salary which we pay for.
Frankly, I was amazed when he was reelected in 2008--disgusted, amazed, but forced to recognize that the decision was not mine, as an Ohioan, to make.
