Oscar Pistorius' father Henke has been accused of racism after blaming South Africa's ANC government for failing to tackle crime against white people. ....
'It speaks to the ANC government, look at white crime levels, why protection is so poor in this country, it's an aspect of our society,' Henke Pistorius said.
'You can't rely on the police, not because they are inefficient always but because crime is so rife,' he told the Sunday Telegraph.
But the 26-year-old has quickly 'distanced' himself from his father's comments .
The Olympic athlete's uncle Arnold who is acting a spokesperson for the family said contrary to Mr Pistorius' claim, the family owned firearms 'purely for sport and hunting purposes.'
'Oscar and the rest of the Pistorius family distances itself from the comments. Henke's interview with the newspaper was unapproved by our media liaison team. The comments don't represent the views of Oscar or the rest of the Pistorius family.' ....
The father of three's comments provoked the anger of the ANC who said that it 'rejects with contempt the accusation made by Henke Pistorius (the father to Oscar Pistorius) to a UK newspaper that "the ANC government is not willing to protect white South Africans".
'Not only is this statement devoid of truth, it is also racist. It is sad that he has chosen to politicise a tragic incident that is still fresh in the minds of those affected and the public,' the statement read according to All Africa.
'We welcome the statement of the Pistorius family that distances Oscar and his family from the statement made by Henke Pistorius.
They said 'this latest racist slur is not assisting these families' and the entire issue should be left to the courts.

Wouldn’t a “white” person have to be insane to live in South Africa? It is only a matter of time until you and your family are murdered.
They don’t seem to protect black people very well either.
Any white South African that hasn’t read history on Rhodesia/Zimbabwe would be well-advised to do so quickly and act accordingly. The British and Dutch forefathers of both countries were not realistic in thinking they and their progeny could forever overcome such cultural clashes with the weight of population against the white minority. Add in the tribalism of time immemorial before white men even appeared on the continent and the brew was always headed to sour.
get out of an empty bed, strap on your blades, grab a gun from your girlfriend’s empty side of the bed, shoot your cowering and presumably silent girlfriend 4 times, downward, through a locked bathroom door, claim you figured whoever was in there was an intruder and didnt call out to your girlfriend because you didnt want to wake her up

My one friend was working late on election day (US) in 2000 after she had just moved here. She said when she got in the car and turned on the radio and realized it and went into full panic mode, because in SA all hell breaks lose on election day. She wondered how she was going to get home in one piece. In SA you don't get in your car on election day. She said she was surprised and quite relieved as she drove home.
So, the fear of attack is a constant thing. When I am by myself I rehearse in my mind what I would do if someone broke into my house. When I go to restaurant I wonder what I would do if someone came in with a gun. I bet what happened to Oscar was that he woke up but was not fully awake when he grabbed his gun and went after the "intruder." Acting on rehearsed instinct he did the unthinkable.
They accuse him of racism, but they mean “how dare you, White a$$, complain? We have the right to let White people be attacked and you have the right to shut up.”
When a White complains of a non-White assaulting a White, it’s racism. When a White wakes up in the morning, it’s racism.
I’m sick of it.

In SA, JUST LIKE IN THE USA, Blacks are allowed by the government deliberately and intentionally to beat up on Whites because of Apartheid.
Apartheid is now over.
In the USA, it’s slavery. Same thing.

You realize that if you tell a black South African: "Dude, apartheid is so 90s! Get over it, bro!" he will not take it as a convincing argument.

Too few people appreciate what apartheid actually was.
In South Africa, once the most prosperous nation in Africa, who developed nuclear power, they put a black man in as president for political correctness. He in turn changed the nation into a turd world nation with an ongoing racial war, a bankrupt economy and shut down the manufacturing base while causing food shortages. In South Africa now, you are more likely to be raped than not, and nobody is safe.
That was Change, that is history, and its easy to believe it if your crazy enough to vist now.
Now Obama is doing exactly the same thing to America.
No amount of death and destruction is enough for the New World Order.
And rightly so.
What would you think if a wealthy and famous black man killed his black girlfriend, and the murderer's uncle said: "He never would have killed her if it weren't for white people!"

The opening sentence in this story is a real knee slapper. These people should listen to themselves.

The underlying assumption is that white people don’t need or deserve protection.

South Africa was always a "Third World nation" - like most Third World nations, its ruling class lived in First World luxury while the vast majority of its population languished.
That was the case before Mandela was elected and it is the case now.

SA's manufacturing base is intact and actually grew by 5% in 2010, the last year of data I have available. Manufacturing was never the leading portion of SA's economy, which has always been dominated by agriculture and mining.

Which food shortages were these exactly? Are food shortages endemic to SA? How many South Africans die of starvation each year?
While the rates are appallingly high, even POWA (a feminist organization in SA), says that the number is 40%, not above 50%.
No one is ever safe. But South Africans are less safe than people in most nations.
Henke Pistorius' underlying assumptions apparently are that grown men are not responsible for the weapons they own and how they use them, that it is abnormal for citizens to own weapons, and that they are only forced to own them because SA lacks the police surveillance state that he would apparently prefer.
Wait a minute. He’s a racist because the whites are under attack?
This article is a good example of why the term ‘racist’ has become effectively meaningless.
