I've looked and searched and can't find one. Any live thread this year?

Thanks for thinking of us home boys by hosting the Nascar thread today and the rest of 2013. I’m saving all my empty wine bottles for ya...
Will you turn the key off on that thing so I can get out and go home...

Weather grounds Thunderbirds
Persistent, low clouds grounded the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds, which were scheduled to fly over Daytona International Speedway during the opening program to the Daytona 500.
Federal regulations bar the aerial team from conducting flyovers when the clouds are lower than the 1,500 feet above the ground. On Sunday, the overcast clouds stayed below 1,200 feet.
“Nobody wanted to fly over that speedway today more than we did,” said Lt. Col. Greg Moseley, Thunderbirds commander and lead pilot. “We cherish the opportunity to be a part of ‘The Great American Race,’ but safety is always our first priority.”

Thanks for those numbers... I think
You are a bigger jerk you cared enough to post a reply you make me laugh thanks
Judging by the on-board camera, and the amount of effort she seemed to expend keeping the car on line, seems to me that's the first time in several years that she had a competitive car. The crew had it dialed in for the track, and it showed.
Credit where credit is due. Luck played a role, too, as always, but she managed to dodge several bullets. Great race.
One race down and I’m already next to last in the league!!!
I haven’t bothered looking, but it ain’t good. It’s early in the season. Fingers crossed..
My score was nothing to write home about either. I know I used up all my luck last year; it’s tough to pick a driver or focus on a team with the new Gen 6 car and it’s unknowns. We’ll see how it goes when we get a few more tracks under our belts. If Toyota TRD engines keep failing we might have just two manufacturers next year.
I smoked two slabs of ribs over hickory wood and charcoal for 4 hours for my Daytona tailgate. With a little smear of Show Me Smoke Sauce just to finish up. Man they were good. However my driver picks didn’t fare so well.
Where are we going this weekend?
