Missouri Dems: Let’s Just Force Gun Owners to Surrender, Destroy Their Weapons

Why wait for the supply to dry up over time when you could just force gun owners to surrender or destroy their weapons immediately? Missouri Democrats think it’s a good idea:

Democrats in the state House have proposed a bill that would force gun owners to either surrender or destroy weapons including semi-automatic rifles with detachable magazines and semi-automatic pistols with a fixed magazine that can shoot more than 10 rounds before being reloaded.

Ammunition-feeding devices that can hold more than 10 rounds also would be banned. Owners also could send their weapons to another state instead of surrendering or destroying them and would have 90 days after the bill’s passage to make a decision.

While it’s highly unlikely the bill will pass in the Republican-controlled House, it is another example of Democrats’ extreme anti-gun agenda, which is being played out not just at the federal level but in state legislatures across the nation as well.

Forcing gun owners to surrender or destroy such weapons is tantamount to confiscation—so in this sense, these Dems have learned a thing or two from the Justice Department’s internal memos:

The democrats are copying the Austrailian failure.

Democrats forget they have to BUY these items at FAIR MARKET VALUE.

Where is the federal government going to obtain over 1 billion dollars to buy the item, ammo, and anything else associated?

My take is they think they’re going to get a pass. Look at the big tard states and you’ll find the Pretty People can get guns if they want them. The same reasoning applies here. All tards view themselves as the upper crust, movers/shakers, pure ideologically and therefore require tools not necessary for the Clingers. After all, once guns are outlawed, someone will be needed to keep the Clingers in line by force.

If you live in Mo. you must identify the author of this bill and anyone who signs onto it. Then loudly proclaim them as being un/anti-constitutional, anti American, and an enemy of the people.

Funny. When I first read about “high capacity magazines” my mind went directly to belt-feed. I wonder why?

“The interesting thing about this story, and others like it from CA, NY, WA, IL, is how into the open these traitors feel they can come.”

I think they are rolling the dice, because they know that their time with their hands on the throttle is coming to an end. They are watching Obama and emulating his actions. Their end is going to be swift on the course that they have charted.

...semi-automatic pistols with a fixed magazine that can shoot more than 10 rounds before being reloaded...

I have only seen one semi-automatic pistol with a fixed magazine and that was a Mauser C96, one of the very first self loading pistols manufactured from 1896 to 1937. It was also copied by Spain and China.

It was produced in 7.63×25mm Mauser,9×19mm Parabellum, and .45 ACP. The above photo is of a "red 9" with an integral box magazine holding ten 9mm rounds. You can see the ammunition below the pistol, held in a "stripper clip". The Chinese produced a .45ACP version as they wished to standardize on that caliber (they were armed with Thompson SMG "Tommy guns"). Spain built a select fire version which featured a detachable "box" magazine to increase magazine capacity for full auto fire. The C96 was favored by Winston Churchill and the "Dragon Lady" of Terry and the Pirates fame.

Why on earth would anyone link auto-loading pistols and fixed magazines in the same sentence in anti-gun legislation? You might as well wear a sign that says "I don't know what I'm talking about but you have to listen to me!".

Regards,
GtG

PS I traded a guy an old beat H&R .22 revolver for a Red 9 C96 when I was about 16. I traded it off before I found out what it was worth. Ah, the follies of youth...
