We need to adjust taxation to equalize the field.

I did not want to become an advocate for increased taxation or any other plan, but we are running out of time so I’ll go ahead and take that position. I am willing to look at any plan however, with the important priviso we must start looking at plans to bring back American manufacturing big, and quickly.

Currently we are hollowing our manufacturing base in America more every single day. Constantly. We are sending ever more manufacturing to China.

At first it was just another option, but it has become an unhealthy obsession. We have sold off ever more production and we seem to have no limit to what we will sell off.

Already now China is the world’s largest exporter. Has now been so for a couple years.

We must stop this. Seriously it must stop, or we are going to simply vanish.

I believe we have overdone the system to the extreme.

We need to enact taxation on imports. Or some other plan. To encourage American businesses to do things here. And we need to do this right now.

We are currently heading for disaster, the way we are doing things.

No way around it. We must change.

Soon

How can we force companies to bring jobs back here?

How about refusing them military protection overseas? How about refusing to do anything about a nation that socializes their assets? These creeps have taken the technologies developed by taxpayers upon whom they depend and given the fruits to the citizens of foreign nations. Why should the taxpayer protect them in return?

“How can we force companies to bring jobs back here?”

We can’t. But we could start by repealing the 16th Amendment and replace it with a flat or `Fair’ tax. This would be a good place to start. But that is going to prove to be near impossible. Too much POWER at stake.

Then you'd have to force those on unemployment, food stamps and welfare to get off the dole and start working.

Force no, set up a tax and regulatory enviroment that makes them want to come back.

You have a homework assignment, Google the Czech Republic's tax code, and compare, and post your results here.

You will be shocked as to how their code will kick out sorry butts....

He just sprinkles that nostrum around randomly. I’m not sure he even reads the thread.

Start with getting rid of unions.

Impossible. You can incentivize them, but you cannot force them.

"How can we force companies to bring jobs back here?"

Many of them have been conspiring against the US economy and national security with foreign communist nations for a decades while having US emissaries regulate against new, small U.S. shop starts on local levels. That should help with finding an answer to the question.

Domestic enemy bandwagons, go ahead. Make more noise. You'll be buying from the rest of us in the future.

Buy American products. And pay twice as much for them.

We are screwed.
