There was some recorded police radio chatter indicating that one of the officers said, "Burn the M-F'er down!!!"

I am no fan of Dorner, and no fan of his Obama love. However, it seems as a FRiend indicated earlier that this was bad guys versus bad guys.

The police were, by no means, interested in taking Dorner alive. This was evident when they shot two women in a truck, and then shot some other random guy in the street. As another poster wrote, the cops had no way of knowing if there were hostages in there before they started burning the cabin. I am surprised the cops didn't bring a Mark-19 with HE rounds to the cabin.

While I am unable to delve into the mind of the person saying those words, "Burn the M-F'er down!!!" would appear to be a reference to the cabin that they wanted burned down -- not the perp hiding in the cabin.

They got trigger happy and shot innocent people because they had become scared of their own shadow? I’m sorry, I hadn’t heard that part of the story. Yikes. Doesn’t make these police look very brave or professional, rather makes them look more like homicidal maniacs.

I used to totally trust the police in my part of the world but with recent happenings I am more concerned about “law enforcement” than I am about lawbreakers.

The government has always been willing to spend ten thousand dollars to collect ten dollars in unpaid taxes, I am afraid that we are about to realize that government is willing to kill ten thousand citizens to eliminate one suspected criminal. When they open up on random citizens who are not even of the same sex as the criminal they are supposed to be looking for simply because they are driving something SIMILAR to the vehicle the suspect is ALLEGED to be driving it is obvious that things are out of control.

It has been said that the government inevitably usurps the function of the criminal and becomes a greater danger to the citizens than the criminal could ever be.
