That’s enough bullets to shoot everyone in the United States five times.

It's a good thing they won't need a high capacity magazine for that.

They don’t but Obama’s allies overseas are happy to get them.

All Dictators and Tyrants Want Their Own Police Force

- Roman Emporers had their Praetorian Guard.
- Hitler had the Waffen-SS.
- Stalin had the KGB
- Saddam Hussein had the Republican Guard.
- Iran has the Revolutionary Guard.
- Obama wants his “Civilian National Security Force”

In 2006 Obama made the following speech:

“We cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”

So Obama is now building his “Civilian National Security Force” under the cover of Homeland Security at the same time he is turning the real military into another wealth redistribution mechanism for freaks, minorities and the unemployable.

Soon he won’t have to worry if the real military will remain loyal to the constitution or will fire on civilians, shoot their own mothers and fathers, lock up their own grandparents.

His well armed, well funded “Civilian National Security Force” will hold their allegiance to him and his loyal assistants like Janet Napolitano.

The average citizen would use his hollow points sparingly, as far as practice goes.

And since average citizens are paying for this, so should the government.

If they are telling the truth about these being for practice, they are still being very wasteful.

[...]liberals who mock the belief in American exceptionalism steadfastly claim that a totalitarian or dictatorial lust could never [happen here]

Once again Lonsberry is brilliant in his analysis but missed a tiny point right here, or at least didnt carry it far enough...

At the same time they are telling us we have no reason to mistrust the government, and that it would never grow to tyrannical sizes, they are growing the government to tyrannical sizes.

NO ONE in the government has credibly explained why they need this much ammunition, and yet they are stockpiling it. The deception is obvious. "Trust the government" they say- while the government is arming against us, and lying about it.

Liberalism is a mental desease. While I believe that many of them are truly evil and this is an actual plan, there are many more that are good-hearted and naive (the kind of trust in evil that always gets millions killed)

They must know.............

“This isn’t a society stocking up on certain guns because they fear they may be banned. This is a society preparing for war”. (David R. Ray, GySgt. USMC Ret)

450 million rounds of .40 caliber jacketed hollow point

You make a great point. You don't buy jacketed hollow point for practice. They are costly. You practice with wad-cutters or something cheap.

There are many similar threads and it has been posted that the quantity is for pre-buying 5 year supplies. They are probably going to put the makers out of business and later have china supply their ammo.

Also, i was just reading about our Medal of Honor nominee Romesha’s battle.

“...Larson alone went through approximately 1,200 rounds in 10 minutes.”

If guns are bad, why does the feral government have so many?

It's time for the feral governments love affair with guns to end.

For “the greater good” moving towards “President for life”?? Could it be there are elements in government and his supporters that actually want his “serving” additional terms? ‘fraid so!

The people have very few representatives anymore. One would think one of those useless goobers might make an issue of this. But, maybe not, I doubt many of them pay any attention to what is going on, To them, it is all party politics and they miss about everything.

or at least didn't carry it far enough...

And another similar tangent is in order...

If Liberals say we are NOT exceptional, in the same breath as saying tyranny can never happen here, then why not? Only if we *were* exceptional, that is if we DID reach a utopia, would they be able to argue that we had finally reached a point where all men were angels.

I have been thinking about this for a while, and I think I know how to orchestrate a peaceful preemptive strike. We don’t need a list of the ammo being bought with our own money. WE NEED A LIST OF THE TRIGGER PULLERS. Perhaps a group such as Anonymous can help, or an insider can help, but some how we need a list of every DHS employee with the addresses of their homes, as well as their relatives homes and we need it posted on multiple servers with their GPS coordinates and interactive maps with precise driving directions to their homes. Get it up on multiple sites all at once so it will be archived on as many servers as possible. Once this information is made known, their loyalties will be tested. In this way, we can manage a PEACEFUL RESOLUTION BEFORE THE SHTF. I think it would be the single most effective deterrent to protect our freedom. All of need to get the word out, through formal requests, through insider whistle blowers to hackers or what have you. We need to execute quickly to nip this thing in the bud.
