Vance students turn in lost church money (Chris Dorner)

The military stresses integrity. It is apparently a lesson learned well by two Vance Air Force Base students.

An Enid church is a little richer today thanks to the integrity of Lt. Andrew Baugher, a Marine student at Vance, and Ensign Chris Dorner, a Navy student pilot.

The two were driving into Enid Sunday afternoon when they spotted a bank bag in the middle of the road.

After turning around, they picked up the bag and found it contained nearly $8,000. They promptly took the bag to the Enid Police Department

The money belongs to Enid Korean Church of Grace, 724 W. Randolph, and the bag contained $7,792 in cash and checks.

“I thought it was a wallet. We turned around and found it was a bank envelope,” Baugher said. “We opened it and found plenty of cash in there.”

Baugher said the pair did not know if the money was lost or stolen, but took it to the police department.

“I thought it was a piece of cardboard,” Dorner said. “When we passed it I thought it was a large purse and turned around.”

When the two opened the envelope, they saw the checks and the church’s deposit slip.

Not everyone would have returned the money, but Baugher and Dorner said “it’s an integrity thing.”

Both were taught honest as children, and integrity is stressed in their military training.

Baugher grew up in Ankeny, Iowa, a small town north of Des Moines, and was raised in a church.

Dorner was raised by his mother in La Palma, Calif., in Orange County. Both men learned the value of honesty as they were raised.

The problem with Dorner may be he has a legitimate beef, and finding no due process solution, decided it was time to go Charles Bronson.

I happen to think we are going to get more of this sort of thing happening, not less.

It’s why the LAPD is freaking out. Dorner’s killed one and injured two cops, plus killed another’s daughter. It’s just one guy.

LAPD have seriously wounded two innocent women trying to find this guy in what appears to be ‘shoot first’ mode. More and more stories of cops killing dogs in their own yards as if it is some sort of procedure.

The worm is turning.

There’s a whole heap o crazy in California.

Just read about this one. A taliban sympathizer planned to bomb a bank in hopes that it would be blamed on right wingers.

This is not how you handle a “legitimate beef”.

One of these days someone with a legitimate beef is going to decide to raise a little army first... then Katie bar the door.

CC, there’s a whole heap o crazy everywhere you turn these days. Sometimes I wish I didn’t see it or hear it, but then I would be crazy, (or in my case, craziER,) too. It is becoming almost impossible to separate fact from fiction anymore.

Posting number 4 links to a story about an "army" of two, and one of them was an FBI agent.

The book “Lessons from the firestorm” written by former LAPD Deputy Chief Bob Vernon summarizes the situation as losing core values due to “political correctness”.

If one man and possibly an accomplice can cause that much havoc (remember Norway??)... just imagine if they spread out over a good sized city and co-ordinated bombings, hostage situations, standoffs...

someone could probably pull off some big bank robberies in the interim too

Man am I so ever glad that street gangs are usually too stupid to try that kind of stuff

This is not how you handle a “legitimate beef”.

He explains in his manifesto that he tried to go the right way, and it led him right into the wall of denial, and eventually he was fired. This made it clear to him that "the system" is biased and unfair. That is hardly a new discovery.

It would be very interesting to see if the accusations that he levels at LAPD are independently proved - or disproved. He speaks of some video, and of some testimony, and of witnesses. Those should be still around. In the old USA (that we can read about in books) journalists would be all over them by now.

Those accusations against the police are such a minor deal, compared to what the police does to citizens every single day. I guess Mr. Dorner doesn't read Internet, otherwise he'd know that he had seen nothing yet; his home wasn't broken into by SWAT, his dog wasn't shot, and he wasn't jailed on a bogus accusation. His car wasn't ripped apart in search of drugs; he wasn't shot at as he was walking around, minding his business (poor newspaper delivery girls, they got the full treatment) - and so on. It is amazing how sheltered his life in LAPD had to be.

Yup. The previous "hmmm..." was the ex-marine who killed Chris Kyle and his friend had no prior relationship with the two and did not meet them through Chris' FITCO charity. So he just sort of showed up and decided to kill them. Hmmm.

Then there was that YouTube 2A advocate from Georgia who was killed in his office or out in his yard or something in early January. Hmmm.

Back up to the previous year's Hmmmm, of Fast and Furious Fail, movie house massacre and Newtown. Someone is stirring the crazies up and getting them to act out with guns. Hmmmm.

None of this matters. That was then, this is now.

Dorner is a lowlife Obama supporting, lib loving, cop killing, murdering predator that needs too be ‘removed’ from free society.

It is my hope that when he is found, he screws up and gets himself killed, legally.
